Chapter 2

  Ethan Woods, a wealthy, eligible bachelor, many girls want to climb onto Ethan Woods' bed.  But he is never the serious type, he changes women like clothes and they're constantly on his call, he is the son of John Woods who owns the biggest gaming company in City  A, with branches in other towns.  Ethan has been out of the country discovering and managing their new company in London, visiting his parents Mira Woods and John Woods in City A, he decides to stay at his cousin's private beach house.

  Meeting Asher was one of the best experiences I had, but she destroyed it by leaving me on the bed and pissing me off, one of the player's rules: never let a girl dump you after s*x.  Asher, I'll see you again.  I left the beach house for my parents' house, I haven't seen them for a long time.  On entering the Woods Manor villa, I saw the maids, butler, mom, and dad waiting to welcome me home, the butler opened the door and I left my Rolls Royce with my hands in my pocket, I strode majestically to my family and hugged them.  I am not a soulless son because I've missed them.

  Mum was in tears, she even ruffled my hair, I hate mum doing this with my hair, she still thinks I'm a kid.  Every time I reprimand her from it, she will tell me to get married and give her a grandson to whom she will do it.

  When we finished eating, my dad called me to his office.  I don't know why he is calling me now, I thought, I said hello to my dad before I sat down, he told me he was retiring that I will take over, I disagreed.  He ended up blackmailing me like mom.

  I went back to my room took my shower and hit the bed, I couldn't help but think about the moments I had with Asher.  The scenes from that night were still playing in my head, the mere thought of it made my lower body react.  I really can't get enough of you, Asher, but typically it's not this way. I guessed this was the first time I want to have s*x with a lady again, I don't usually go twice with ladies, what's happening to me, I need to see a doctor, I howl and fell asleep.

               ** Weeks Later **

  "Good morning, sleepyhead, are you not going to work?"  Jake opened my curtain.  "Ah .... Jake, go away, I need to get some sleep." covering my face with the pillow, "Asher, are you sure you're alright?  You're sleeping too much lately, you have a press conference in 3 hours and Kim has been calling you for hours, you'd better get up and get ready to go to work before Kim comes by herself''

  It struck me that I was meeting the media at noon, I ran into the bathroom, took a shower, and put on a flared sleeveless white gown that stopped at my knee, with my 4-inch peach hill, packed my hair, and left.

  Kim scolded me for being late and clumsy, after meeting the media, Kim came up to me. ''Asher, what's your problem?  You came to work late and sleep anyhow, what's the matter with you?''

  "I'm fine Kim, I'm just tired of the workload''

  '' So what about the weight gain?  People are talking about your sudden weight gain''

  "It's okay, Kim I'm fine maybe I'm overeating"

  "So go home and have a good rest''

  It's been a month since we left Jerome's private beach house, I've been waiting for weeks to turn to months, my friend Lilly was dating Mark from the beach house, Natasha of course, she hooked up with Jerome the night we had a bonfire they're now a thing.  And my Jake has a crush on that girl Lora, also from the beach house.

  But I'm in the waiting room, praying for good news and waiting for the nurse to call me.  "Miss Williams, now it's your turn" the nurse summoned me.  "Okay, show me the doctor's office"

  "Go straight and turn right, the first door is Dr. Miriam's office"  I walked down the hall, praying silently that my test would be positive, Dr. Miriam was my private doctor but was transferred and promoted to another hospital.  "Hello Miriam''

 "Morning Asher, are you ready for the test?" 

"Yes," I told her but I was nervous, "You can go for a blood test there"

  "So tell me what are your symptoms?"

  "No symptoms, just weight gain and sleep."

  "When was the last time you saw your period?"  She inquired while playing with her Biro, "I haven't seen my period, that's why I came for a test" 

 "You have to go to the waiting room, your result will be ready in a few minutes" I left her office still praying silently

  "Miss Asher, your result is out," the blonde nurse gave me the test result, "you can see the doctor later."

  I checked the result and it was positive, I'm a mom! I can't wait to hold you in my arms, mom love's you already.  I just need to make an appointment with the doctor, then I will celebrate with the girls, I muttered happily to myself.
