Chapter 3

  I left the hospital happy, called my friends and asked them to meet me at a new cafe near my house, except for Jake.

  ''Ash, is there a problem?  You said it was urgent so I rushed here as soon as I finished filming''

 ''It's okay girl let's wait for Natasha, I ordered your favorite cappuccino'' I shoved the cappuccino to her with a smile.  "Asher, you're acting unusual, but I love that version of you"

  "Tasha is here," I pointed to her red velvet BMW

  "So what's the news?" Tasha solicited.  Such a talkative I reckoned, ''Calm down first Tasha, you're too fast. Well, I'm pregnant and I want to celebrate with you two”  I was grinning, really I'm very happy about the news.

  "Wow, congratulations honey the purpose is accomplished" Tasha hugged me.  ''Are you telling Ethan?"

 "No, this is not part of the plan, and we are not intending to meet"

  "Jerome told me Ethan would stay here, to take over his father's company, what are your plans, Asher?"

  ''I never planned for my baby to be born here, I will ask Kim to apply for a transfer, I'm moving to the Maldives”

 "It's a perfect idea, Asher, what about Jake, are you telling him?"

  "Not now, if he knows he'll panic and ruin my plans, none of you can tell him, let's celebrate"

  I gave them whatever treat they want and went back to my office to meet my manager Kim.  I told her I was pregnant, she was shocked and angry for a while before agreeing to help me get a contract that would take me to the Maldives.

  Two weeks later, at the Orlando airport, I was sitting in the first-class passenger seat waiting for our plane to take off.  I got to my mentioned apartment in the Maldives, put my things on, took a bath, and went to sleep.

  Pregnancy has never been easy for me, from food craving to being emotional and unnecessary anger, I am in the last trimester of pregnancy, the doctor told me that I will have twins, thank God for Sebastian, he has been helpful and a great friend to me.

  I woke up the next morning feeling weird, I touched my thigh and screamed, I was taken to the city hospital by my neighbors, where I gave birth to my lovely children Daniel and Daniella.  After the children were born, I was able to look after my children with Sebastian's help, now my contract is over and I'm going back to City A.

  Daniella and Daniel were playing with Sebastian in the living room when I got home from work.  "Mom's back'' Ella jumped with joy, I picked her up off the floor and pecked her cheeks.  "Hey Sebastian, thanks for looking after my kids"

  ''You don't have to thank me, Asher, they're cute so I don't mind being a nanny''

  "OK Seb, I have good news for all of you"

  "What's this good news mom?'' Daniel who has been silent asked, "mom just finished her contract and we're going back to my country" I answered with a smile.  "Yes, we'll meet Daddy'' shouted Daniella.

  I was stunned by my daughter's behavior, I didn't know she was still thinking about her dad, although she asked me about him and I told her he was in City A, I didn't know she would take it seriously.

          * Four years later *

  It's been four years since I left City A, but everything is the same here. A few months after I found out I was pregnant,  I moved to the Maldives to work in the leading Advertising Industry, my contract was three years, now I'm back in City A. Lily and Natasha are busy walking the red carpet so I had to wait for my driver to pick me up. 

  Passers-by were fascinated by my two lovely children that they were taking pictures of them.  "Daniella and Daniel come to mom, the driver is here," I called to my kids, "mom, is this your town?"  little Daniella consulted.

  "Yes baby, I grew up here"

  "Will we meet Daddy?" 

 "Honey, we'll talk about it later, now we have to move, your brother is hungry, let's find something to eat, then we can talk about your daddy" My and I kids decided to dine at the Hilton Restaurant.

  "Who do we have here, my dearest celebrity sister, are you here for lunch too?'' but I didn't want to talk to Catherine.  "My bad ... it's not my fault that Daddy decided to marry my mother, your mother has nothing to offer Daddy, that's why he left your mother'' Catherine still trying to provoke me.

  "Mom, who is this crazy woman?"

   "is that your aunt?" My kids are the best thing I could ever ask for, always looking after me. I laughed at their question, "You ... who are these two little squirrels, are they your rumored bastards?  You haven't taught them manners.  Like mother like daughter, it looks like the father left you too, just like dad left you and your mom, hahaha ... It runs through your genes to be forsaken by men so pathetic” I was already trembling with anger over her words.

  '' Catherine, stay away from me''

  "Aha ... are you angry? There is another matter here, daddy is also here, we are having a family dinner, you and your bastards can sit on the floor and eat with us,” Catherine chuckled.  I couldn't bear Catherine's provocation anymore, I slapped her so hard.  "What are you doing, Asher?  Why are you beating your sister, you've gone too far'' my father came up to us.  I turned around and saw my father Martin with his wife Angela, I haven't seen my father since the day he left us, "Dad, please don't blame Asher, I was to blame, I told her to join our table with her kids, but she thinks  that we are dirty and won't join us, she just tried to correct me as a big sister"

  "What made a low life as you think you can rebuke my daughter?"  Angela stormed angrily.  Catherine sneered and a smirk appeared on my lips, Catherine was seriously setting me up and thought I cared.

  Indeed, I saw the dissatisfied expression on my father's face, but I don't care.  "Asher, why are you so intolerant, she is your little sister, why are you beating her, apologize to Catherine immediately''

  "Why would I listen to you, Mr. Martin Rodriguez, who are you? Asking me to apologize"

  "You" ... Angela was about to hit me, but I grabbed her hand and shoved her away, she stumbled.  "Don't even think about it, we're not familiar, don't let your daughter appear before me" I told Angela.  "Daniella and Daniel let's go home, I don't want to waste my time on these people"

  “Asher, you've gone too far, I'd know your mother is so shameless that she didn't teach you how to behave” Martin was angry but I didn't care. "Don't drag my mom into this, you shameless man, you left your family because of money, you're so lenient you can't work for your money, that's why you left," I snapped at him.
