I watch my brother through Raven’s vision as he scowls. Kailus is not happy with me, and he’s making sure I know it. I wasn’t expecting him to run and hold me, be pleased that I was home, but I didn’t think he’d be this vocal.
My whole family is here, Mom’s side of the family and Dad’s side. I wasn’t expecting to see Dad’s parents, brothers, sisters-in-law, their children, and Elora. Uncle Arrow usually stays behind to keep the pack safe. I’ll have to ask who’s taking care of them when this verbal beatdown is over.
I let Raven take over because I couldn’t deal with not being able to speak out loud fast enough. I only said one word, and Kailus grumbled that he couldn’t understand me. I could have spoken through the mind link to them all, but I couldn’t stand what everyone was sayi
