"Did she really lose the baby?"
"Of course, I was there when she started screaming as blood flowed down her thighs and she collapsed," I replied as we both watched the third miscarriage of the selected fifteen get wheeled out of the special palace we were given.
"I can't believe they are actually having these miscarriages. I can't wait to have mine, but I hope it's not so painful."
"You're a bit twisted, aren't you?" I nudged her elbow with mine, "I wouldn't be too sure, but she didn't appear in pain before she passed out. She was more horrified by the sight of blood," I explained to my friend who was starting to miss her mate.
