"Pregnant? How so?" I asked Agnes as I turned to face her.
The woman who had lived in place of my mate for the title and a deal made to protect Aurora was pregnant.
I'd been celibate for four good years and there was suddenly news of someone carrying my child. It felt so hilarious that I laughed.
"Your laughter still gives me the creeps," Agnes said as she rubbed her arms.
"Really? I just thought you said something funny." I said as I took my seat and grabbed a file.
I could get myself busy until I thought up a plan to revisit the Rock Claw pack.
