But she was only telling the truth. I claimed to love her, yet my pride wouldn't let me make her happy.
All I did, making her Luna and giving her the most expensive dresses and food could only cheer her up a bit.
But they didn't make her truly happy. The happiness I promised was the least of what I'd given her so far, yet the only thing she was asking for was to see her children.
My pride was one thing and her happiness was another yet I was confusing them together and making them contradict each other which was wrong.
I sighed as I made my way down to her room. I had to do something.
