Aurora's Pov
“How are you feeling?” Jason asked after he had sent the others out.
“Bad, I miss my children,” I said as I shivered with my teeth shattering against each other.
“But-” he paused. It had started from a nightmare and now I couldn't move my limbs. I'd dreamt that they were taken away to a very darkplace and were treated badly.
I couldn't help but regret not bringing them with me. Life here turned out to be far better than I had imagined it would be, yet I had continued to keep the secret of his children from him because I trusted Damien better.
The dream had felt so real and I'd cried as they were being dragged away from me, but because of the distance, I couldn't do anything to help.
