"Let's run away." Rick whispered surprising me.
"What?" I asked in shock.
My ears were either deceiving me or my mind was.
"I said let's ran away together." He repeated.
"Why and to where?" I asked seriously.
"Let's go away from all this. When I say that I love you Caroline, I do mean it. Tricia will always be in my life as long as I'm the Don of my family. But if we do run away from everything and everyone, we can start afresh. We would raise Ruby together. You could run a cafe while I would work a normal regular job. When the right time comes, we would have another child and grow old together." He said as I stood up.
