Date Night

Josh's POV

Jennifer and I spent a few hours just talking about our lives and everything we have been through. "Mate is in our bed, mark her!" My wolf would continually speak up in my mind, but I would just ignore him. Jenn made it clear that she is not ready for that, and I would never force her into something she didn't want to do. "I just want a small taste of her! Just give her neck a little bit" I hear my vampire chime in from time to time, begging for her blood. I repeatedly told them both no, and eventually tried blocking them out. Two against one is not fair, so they were able to knock down the wall I tired to put up to ignore their voices.

"Are you okay?" I turn my attention to my beautiful mate. "Yes, I'm just trying to block my wolf and vampire. They're annoying me." I say with a small chuckle. "What do they want?" She asked intrigued. I rub the back of my neck sheepishly. "They, uh... want you."She looked confused, so I elaborated for her. "My vampire wants a taste of your blood and my wolf wants to mark and mate you." Her face turns red as she realized what I meant. I had explained earlier to her about the basics of werewolves, so she knew what mate and marking her meant.

I let out a small laugh at how adorable she is. "Don't worry, that's not going to happen for awhile. Okay?" She nods her head and snuggles closer to me, resting her head on my chest. I resumed the show and I soon heard her snoring. I softly laid her head on the pillow and crept out of bed. I want to plan the perfect date for her, so I link my best friends to join me in our private living room.

"So, did you guys bang yet?" I throw a pillow from the couch at Dan's face. This guy is such an i***t, that I sometimes wonder why I am friends with him. "Find your mate yet?" I retort back, causing his face and laughter to fall. "Dude, harsh." Zach quietly replied. I simply shrug my shoulders and take a seat on one of the recliners.

"So, what's so important you dragged us all here?" Alison asks, getting straight to the point.

"I want to plan the perfect date for Jenn, so I was hoping you guys could help me with ideas."

"Really? That's why you called us here so urgently?" Adam rolls his eyes, causing Stefanie to elbow him in the side. "Ow!" Stefanie claps her hands excitedly and jumps up from the couch. "I have the perfect idea!" After hearing her plan, I couldn't wait for tonight. These guys may give me a hard time, but that's how we express our love for each other.

Jennifer's POV

When I woke up, I was expecting to see Josh next to me, not Stefanie and Alison. "Well, good morning sleeping beauty." Alison smirks as she greets me. "What time is it?" I ask through my yawn. "It's time for you to wake up. We're going shopping!" Stefanie excitedly exclaims. Ugh. I hate shopping. "Don't roll your eyes at me young lady, let's get you out of bed and freshened up." She scolded me playfully. "Where's Josh?" I ask, missing him already.

"He's out training with the men and whichever she wolves that want to be trained." Ah, I forgot about training. It's no wonder everyone here is well built. I'm brought out o my thoughts when I hear running water. "Go shower up and we'll choose an outfit for you." Alison demands as she walks out of the bathroom. Knowing it's no use arguing with these two, I get up and make my way to the bathroom.

As the water cascades over my body, my mind begins to wonder. I've only been here for a short amount of time and already feel at home. I bet my parents would have loved Josh. He's such a sweetheart and treats me so well. When I dry myself off, I walk back into Josh's room with the towel wrapped securely around my body. Much to my relief, the room was empty. On the bed was a short black halter dress with matching high heels. The dress definitely isn't one of mine, but is my correct size. Same with the heels. Why do I need to dress up just to go shopping?

I slip the dress on and as I'm strapping the heels, there's a knock on the bedroom door. "Come in!" I holler and in walks Stefanie and Alison. "You don't have to yell, you know? We can hear perfectly well." Ali states with a laugh. "Sorry. I forgot about your super sonic hearing abilities."

"Damn girl, you look hot!" Stefanie exclaims as she makes me stand up and do a twirl. I notice they are also in dresses and heels. "So, why exactly are we dressed up to go shopping?" I question. They look at me with mischief in their eyes. "Okay, don't be mad." Stefanie begins to say. "We're going to the new club that just opened last weekend. We're still going shopping though, so it's not like we completely lied." I stare at them dumbfounded.

"Uh, yeah. I'm not really a club person."

They both rolled their eyes. "Obviously. We already know you are a professional business woman, but you need to let loose and have fun with your girlfriends."

"Please?" They both plea to me with puppy eyes. I'm not use to having friends and maybe a night out dancing could be fun. Letting out a deep sigh, I give them my reply. "Okay, let's go." They both smile and don't waste time grabbing my hands and hurrying downstairs.

Once outside, I hear a loud growl. Actually, it sounded like multiple growls.
