Okay?

Jennifer's POV

I was so lost in the moment with Josh, that I had forgotten that we weren't alone. I hear someone clear their throat, causing me to pull away from Josh.

"Sorry." I mutter softly.

"Hey. Don't ever apologize for expressing your feelings." Josh states firmly.

"I must say, you are a very strong woman, Jennifer."

"Thank you, Luna Heather." She sticks her hand up, "Please, just call me Heather when it's just us around." She smiles warmly at me. I still can't believe that I just told these people my most personal, horrifying, experience. Yet, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulder. Not having any friends, I never got to talk about the whole ordeal. It's crazy how comfortable I feel around them after only a few hours of meeting the high ranking wolves of Silver Moon.

We continue with small chat for awhile, giving me the chance to get to know each of them a little bit. I know it will take time to fully get to know these new people who I think are now my friends?

"It was a pleasure getting to meet you, Jennifer. I do hope to see you soon. We'll give you two some privacy." Heather says, and everyone stands up as soon as she does. After a short goodbye to each person, just me and Josh are left at the table.

"They seem really nice." I state.

"Yes, and they like you very much." I stare at him confused. How could he possibly know such a thing after I just met them.

"They told me through mind link." He says, as if reading my thoughts. "Oh. I wish I could do that." He lets out a chuckle. "It can be rather annoying at times, trust me."

He stands up and sticks his hand out for me to grab. Helping me up from my seat, we begin to go for a walk around the huge garden. When we reach a wooden bench, he sits down, pulling me onto his lap. I feel myself blush instantly.

"So, what do you think?"

"You're going to have to be a bit more specific." I giggle at him.

"Do- do you think you would be willing to live here with the pack? With.. me?" From the look on his face, I bet I would be able to hear his heart beat rapidly if I had werewolf hearing. I begin to wiggle uncomfortably in his lap, but he grabs my waist firmly to prevent me from moving.

I notice his eyes flicker black. "If you keep doing that, I don't know if I'll be able to keep my wolf at bay." His voice was deeper and so sexy. I hear a low growl escape his lips. "You smell delicious." He whispers into my ear. Huh?

His eyes return to normal, as he leans into my ear again. "I can smell your arousal."

Holy. f*****g. s**t.

I don't think I've ever been more embarrassed in my life. I place my hands on my face, not wanting to look at him.

However, he places his hands on mine and moves them from my face. "You have no idea how beautiful you are. Don't ever be ashamed of how your body reacts to me. It makes me happy to know you're attracted to me as much as I am to you."

"Now. Back to my question."

"Umm.. I- I don't know. That's a huge commitment. I've never lived with another person, besides my parents. I can't leave Loki behind either. He's just as much family to me as my parents were."

"Loki?"

"My cat." This causes him to give a grin.

"You do know that Loki if more than welcome to live here as well? We're not going to eat him." He laughs after his statement, and soon I join in with the laughter.

"Would I have my own room?" I ask, hoping I didn't give him the wrong idea by letting him sleep in bed with me last night. I was just scared after everything and felt safe having him nearby.

"As much as I would love for you to share a bed with me, you will have your own room. If you want, that is."

It would be nice to be around others. Plus, this place isn't too far from my town where I work at. There's truly nothing holding me back, except for myself.

"Okay."

"Okay?" He questions me.

"I'll move in. I'm still going to work though. I refuse to give up the business I built from the ground up. And Loki will be living here as well. I beg you, don't transform into a wolf in front of my little baby. Okay?"
