Adam and I searched through the hallway, asking other students every now and then to see if they know who the handkerchief belongs to. I felt kind of bad tricking him into this small act of mine but maybe I did this because I know that no matter what cruel thing I do, he would still forgive me like a big i***t he is. I stared at him while talking to a few students, his face still red and glowing from being this close to me. I remembered that sometimes he would so much as faint whenever I came in contact with him. That's how much he's not good around women. A smile crept up on my face the moment the image of Adam collapsing to the ground when they were playing football, all because I cheered for him that time and yelled his name so loud the other girls got annoyed by my very existence.
