Mayari Calleope's Point of View

"Where are you going?" Iyan agad ang tanong ni Sophia sa akin pagkalabas ko ng kwarto.

"I'm just gonna get my phone back," I replied, the words falling from my lips with a simplicity that belied the turmoil within me. My fingers brushed through my hair as I finished my preparations. Dressed and ready, I was determined to march to Riley's condo and reclaim my cellphone.

That insufferable man! Talagang pinanindigan niya ang sinabi niyang hindi niya ibibigay ang phone ko hangga't hindi ako mismo ang pumunta sa kaniya upang kumuha.

"Riley's condo?" Sophia pursued her inquiry. I met her gaze with a nod.

"Yeah," I confirmed, my tone devoid of emotion. Securing my bag, I added, "Let them know that I'm just fetching my phone, and I'll be back soon." Bilin ko kay Sophia. Lumabas kasi sila Amara, Ashley, at Alex para bumili ng iilan nilang personal na gamit.

Tumango lang si Sophia kaya naman nagpaalam na ako na aalis na ako. Babalik din naman talaga ako agad. Wala akong plano mag-stay ng matagal sa bahay ng siraulong Riley na 'yon.

Palabas na sana ako ng pinto ng biglang nagsalita si Sophia.

"Are you sure about this, Mayari? Bakit hindi na lang siya ang pumunta rito upang ibalik ang phone mo? Bakit ikaw pa ang pupunta?" Her voice held doubt as she regarded me with a concerned expression.

"Yes, Sophia. And don't worry, I can handle myself," I assured her, flashing a confident smile. I knew her concern for me was genuine, but I had faith in my own abilities.

"If you say so. Take care, Mayari," she said, her smile small but filled with warmth. I nodded and exited the condo.

Pagbaba ko ay agad akong pumara ng taxi at nagpahatid sa condo ni Riley. Pagdating ko ay agad na umakyat ako patungo sa kaniyang unit at nang andoon na ako ay bumuntong-hininga muna ako bago mag-doorbell.

A brief pause followed, and when the door swung open, I was met with a sight that left me momentarily stunned. Riley stood before me, cloaked only in a towel.

"Hey! You're early," he greeted me with an infectious grin. I didn't reply immediately, for my attention was consumed by his physique. I suddenly became aware of his sculpted form, his impressive posture, and the allure of water trailing down his body, accentuating his abdominal muscles.

Damn, Mayari! Gather yourself! Kailan ka pa natutong tumitig sa katawan ng isang lalaki?

"Loving the view?" Riley's voice broke my trance. I shifted my gaze back to him, catching a teasing grin dancing on his lips. Swiftly, I snapped out of it and diverted my eyes.

"Can you please put on some clothes? Why are you half-naked?" I blurted out, my irritation surfacing. He chuckled.

"I just finished showering when you arrived, baby," he explained, prompting me to narrow my eyes.

"Anong baby? Tigilan mo nga ang kakatawag sa akin ng baby. Hindi naman ako sanggol." Asik ko rito. Tumawa lang ito at nagkibit-balikat kaya naman napairap na lamang ako.

Pinapasok na ako ni Riley sa loob at pinaupo sa sofa.

His voice, dripping with hospitality, broke the silence. "What shall it be? Juice, coffee, or tea?" he inquired, extending a courteous offer. I responded with a skeptical sidelong glance.

"Magbihis ka. Iyon ang gusto ko." I retorted, a playful spark in my eye, eliciting a hearty laugh from him.

"Ayaw mo bang makita ang mala-adonis kong katawan?" At nag-pose pa ito na para bang isang professional model. In all fairness, mukha nga siyang model sa katawan niyang iyan. Pero siyempre hindi ko ipapahalata sa kaniya na nagagandahan ako sa hubog ng kaniyang katawan kaya agad ko siyang inirapan. Ang lakas din talaga ng tama ng isang 'to eh.

"Adonis my ass. Magbihis ka nga! Naaalibadbaran ako sa katawan mo. Kung pwede lang din takpan mo na rin 'yang mukha mo dahil naiinis din ako sa pagmumukha mo." I quipped, meeting his playful banter with equal zest. Riley chuckled, finding immense amusement in our back-and-forth verbal duel.

"Okay, baby. Your wish is my command. Just wait here for a second," he said before retreating into his room to change.

As Riley prepared himself, I couldn't help but take in the details of his condo. The space was expansive and meticulously organized. Black, white, and gray hues dominated the decor, giving off a distinctly masculine vibe. A few framed pictures sat on display in drawers.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I stood up to inspect them individually. I picked up a frame holding a photo of a stunning family. It was undoubtedly Riley's, as the striking woman in the picture bore an uncanny resemblance to him, and the handsome man beside her shared his good looks.

Halata namang galing sa magandang lahi si Riley dahil hindi rin naman maitatanggi ang kagwapuhang taglay nito.

"That's my mom and my dad," I quickly replaced the picture frame and returned it to its spot. Turning my attention back to Riley, I noticed he had completed his wardrobe change. He now sported a fitted black t-shirt and gym shorts that emphasized his biceps and abs.

"Mayari, I know I'm hot, but don't make it too obvious that you're drooling over me," Riley remarked, catching me off guard.

"Really, Riley?" I responded, concealing my emotions with a poker face. Riley laughed once more and took a step closer, causing me to involuntarily retreat.

"H-huwag ka ngang lumapit!" Singhal ko rito. Sa kakaatras-abante naming dalawa ay hindi ko namalayang nasa likuran ko na pala ang sofa at dahil doon ay bigla akong napaupo at bumagsak si Riley sa ibabaw ko.

My eyes widened as I gasped, realizing our current position. Our gazes locked, and the playful expression in his eyes was replaced by something more intense. His stares grew sensuous, and a fire of desire ignited within them.

"Mayari..." he breathed my name, as if each syllable held the essence of his very being.

"W-what? Get off me," I managed to utter, even though an inexplicable sensation coursed through me.

"What if I don't?" he inquired, his voice taking on a husky tone. Furrowing my brow at his words, I wondered what he was plotting.

"W-what are you trying to pull? Just give me back my phone," I insisted. Riley grinned mischievously.

"No, not until," he declared, his playful demeanor intact.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Until what?" I asked, my annoyance growing.

"This," he replied, and time seemed to stand still as he leaned in to kiss me. It started as a slow, passionate kiss, but soon escalated into something faster, hotter, and wilder. I closed my eyes, giving in to Riley's kisses. The world seemed to spin, and the thumping of my heart grew louder.

"Whoa," Riley abruptly pulled away from our fiery exchange, leaving both of us breathless from the intensity of our kisses.

"Woah ka diyan. Akin na 'yung phone---" I didn't have the chance to finish my sentence as Riley seized me once more, capturing my lips in another kiss. I closed my eyes, succumbing to him.

Damn it! I didn't know what spell Riley had cast, but with just one kiss, he could make me surrender. I had resolved not to let Riley take control of me, but my body and mind seemed to have other intentions.

Once again, Riley broke the kiss, and we were both left gasping for breath.

"I'll give you back your damn phone, but you have to spend the entire night with me," he said, his voice heavy with desire. I raised an eyebrow, my suspicion growing.

"Entire night? What are you up to?" I questioned, my skepticism now tinged with curiosity.

Riley's eyes sparkled mischievously as he leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear. A shiver ran down my spine as he whispered, "You'll find out soon enough, Mayari."
