He looked at a single sheet of paper that contained all he had been able to find out about Vilmos. He was powerful and well-respected, despite his stand-alone attitude. The most important thing Matteo had uncovered was that around four years previously, Vilmos had information that could have led to Ciaran’s capture or demise.
Looking at the demon’s name, Matteo shivered as a cold frisson skittered down his spine. This was the first time he would be in the company of someone who’d had close dealings with Ciaran. His scar tingled as he continued to read.
