“Thanks for letting me crash at your place Ashley,” I say as she helps me move all my bags inside.
“Of course. I’m really sorry about what happened,” she gives me a sympathetic look.
I shrug, “it is what it is, I guess. The ground breaking for my project in Kenya is going to take place soon. I wasn’t originally planning on going, but I think going out of the country will do me some good.”
