Elliot Later that night, I sneak out into a black SUV. The road to my parents' estate is actually a very nice drive. They technically live in Wellspring, but they own close to a hundred acres, so it could be its own city. And most of this city is wooded. Aside from the gate at the entrance and the road going through the property, there was a natural, almost wildness, vibe. At least that’s how it felt when I was a little girl, running free in the woods. The road to the mansion curves around through an archway of trees. It was almost magical.
