Damn! She's beautiful! I feel the spark when we shake our hands and my heart is beating rapidly. That’s really new to me. I can stare her all day, I don’t mind. She has a lovely face. I'm glad I choose to walk with the 4th applicant in the door. I instantly see her na nakikipag-usap sa dalawa kong tauhan.

Damn! Right there at that moment napatulala ako ng magtama ang mata naming dalawa. I feel the world stop… I didn't even hear na nagpaalam na pala ang lalaking applicant.

Ang gusto ko lang ay titigan ang kanyang mukha at katawan. She's only wearing a simple office attire type of dress yet she wear it elegantly. I've seen many women wear dresses almost showing everything but never did it attract my attention but her, its already recorded in my mind. Her simplicity makes her more attractive.

Damn! Dont tell me I like her already? What was that again? F*ck! My heart can’t stop beating fast. Kung hindi pa tumikhim si Greg hindi ko namalayan na matagal na pala akong nakatulala. I notice napakislot din ito. Ibig sabihin pareho lang kami?

I hurriedly came inside after I said it to her. And now that she's sitting in front of me I can see how refreshing her beauty is. I compose myself. I need to test her. I look at her in blank expression. I can’t show her my true emotion now. I have to know her more before I can do that. Sa ngayon... my cold self muna.

"Lets start Ms. Alarcon." In my cold voice.

I read her file.

I scan it fast until I saw her achievements and wow... impressive!

Magna c*m Laude and top 4 in CPA board exam and had her master’s degree two months ago. She's a genius. Just like what we need in the island.

"How can you handle two courses like that? And maintain your GPA so high?" I can’t help to blurt out loud.

"Impressive!"

Her face flush red. So cute!

"Uhmm when I'm studying I like them both and it was difficult for me to choose so I take the two course. Beside they have the same units to take, it wasn't hard to handle both. I just need to balance everything and maintained all major courses in high grades to keep my scholarship for both."

"You’re a gem Ms. Alarcon and I'm glad you choose to apply here. People like you is what we need in our team especially in the island."

"Thank you sir!"

"Hmm. Anyway where do you find out that we were looking someone for this position? And what makes you think I will hire you? That’s a big responsibility to carry for someone who doesn't have experience at all." I asked. I lean on my chair with my hand crossed in front of my chest and straightforwardly looking at her while waiting for her answers. I studied her expression and I can see she become more confident than nervous.

"First of all, thank you for the praise Sir. About the hiring here, I found it out from my best friends which happen to be a sister of Mr. Velasco."

Gregoria I guess.

"And for the second question. I know Sir I don’t have experience yet, but with proper guidelines and allowing me to show my capability by letting me be part of your company, I'll do my best to reach your expectations. I just want a chance to put in action all my knowledge in this field and I'll assure you, you won’t regret hiring me, Sir."

What a confident answered she said there. I admire her even more. You are hired Belle.

"Very well said Ms. Alarcon. Do you have a boyfriend?"

"SIR?"

Mabilis ba? It didn’t mean anything it’s just part of questions. I saw how shock she is. And I like that reaction I got from her. Tsk tsk Alvin. Nabigla ko yata? Kahit ako nabigla din sa sinabi ko. Pumaparaan ka lang, 'yan ang sabihin mo. Side comment ng isip ko.

"As I said… may boyfriend ka ba or let’s rephrase it. Are you in a relationship? You see Ms. Alarcon once I hire you as our Operation Manager in the island. You are only allow 4 days in 3 months to visit the main land. And your families are only allow to visit in the island. Hindi kasama ang boyfriend mo or kaibigan."

Asus… gusto mo lang malaman eh. Saad ng isip ko. Tumango ito bilang pang-unawa sa palusot ko.

"Uhm no sir." Keeping it cool, I nod.

"Very well then. Ngayon pa lang I tell you I don’t like distractions in your work. Sayo nakaatang ang responsibilities ng isla kaya aasahan namin na magawa mo ang iyong tungkulin ng maayos. At dahil single ka… ako mismo ang magsasabi sayo, you are not allow to entertain or flirt with men in the island. That was one of the rules there. Flirting or seducing a member are not allowed, yan ang reason kaya pinaalis ang dating Operation Manager doon. Is that clear Ms. Alarcon?"

"Ahm Sir… ibig sabihin ba nito tanggap na ako?" She asked confusedly.

"Tsk! Sa haba ng sinabi ko wala ka man lang naintindihan doon." Pang-asar ko sa kanya. Namula ito.

Cute! Nagsaside comments talaga itong isip ko mula kanina. Well, I can’t help it. Tsk.

"To make it official... yes Ms. Alarcon you are hired. You are now the new Operation Manager of Recuerdo De Amor Island. Welcome to our company." I stand up to congratulate her ngunit nakatulala lang ito. Hindi pa yata nagsink in ang sinabi ko sa isip n'ya. She close her eyes. Napangiti ako naman ako.

Moment later, tumili ito. Surprisingly I didn’t get annoyed like I always feel when girls do that pagdumaan ako sa harap nila. I only feel like this to my brat sister and my friend's sisters. So childish. I smiled when I think that. Lalo s'yang gumanda sa paningin ko. I hide my smile when she open her eyes. Her eyes become wide when she heard the echo of her voice in the room.

"D-did I... uhmm did I just do it out loud?" Nahihiyang tanong nito. Tumango lang ako. She blush. Pulang-pula na ang mukha nito. I like her even more. I want to see her blush often.

"It's ok... hindi pa naman ako nabingi sa tili mo and I assure you, I won't take back what I said while ago that you are hired...so?" I offered my hand again for shake hands. Dali-dali itong tumayo at tinanggap ang kamay ko.

"Again congratulation Ms. Alarcon." Damn! Here's the spark again. I like the sensation she's giving into my body.

"Thank you Sir. You won’t regret hiring me. And I'm sorry for my behaviour a while ago I can’t suppress my feeling when I heard you."

"It's ok. I understand you. I find it amusing actually." She blush again. Damn! I want to kiss those cheeks.

"Take your set again Ms. Alarcon. I'll call Lionel and Greg, we have more to discuss." Umupo na rin ako uli.

"Greg, you two… inside now." I called them in my intercom.

Knock! knock!

"Come in." Magkasabay na pumasok ang dalawa.

"Have a seat you two. Ms. Alarcon here is our new hired Operation Manager in the island." They congratulate her too. Tumikhim na ako to take their attention.

"Lionel I want you take Ms. Alarcon in HR department. Si Mrs. Cruz na ang bahala mag-orient sa kanya and sign all documents for her works in the island. You know what to do." I instructed.

Lionel nod. "Yes sir."

Binalingan ko naman si Greg. " Greg you're going on the island with Ms. Alarcon. Sa Monday na ang alis n'yo. Dahil magkakilala naman kayo tour her first sa mga allowed area ng island pagdating n'yo doon, nang mafamiliarize n'ya ang kanyang nasasakupan. Next day saka na kayo magsimula nang dapat gawin. You'll be staying there for a week to guide and teach Ms. Alarcon how to manage the hotel and everything she need to know."

"I will sir." He answered.

"Good." I face Belle again. "Siguro sapat na ang 1 week for you to handle everything on your own Ms. Alarcon?" Napatango s'ya.

"Yes sir." I'm please to hear her answer.

"Good. I'll help you when I finish here. Especially we have events coming kaya kailangan handa ang lahat doon. And Ms. Alarcon you still have two days to prepare at magpaalam sa pamilya mo. I'm sure its enough, besides maari ka naman nilang madalaw sa isla."

"Yes sir. Expect me on Monday."

"Good. Greg will fetch you because you're going to use my private chopper papunta sa isla." I saw how Greg and Lionel jaw dropped. Tsk. Why? It's big deal?

It is big deal. You never allowed anyone to use your thing. You really like her huh? My mind asked. I guess I do. Because without thinking I just said that. I hope she will like me too.

"And one more thing..."

The phone ring, interrupted me. It's from reception line. I press the answer button and the speaker.

"What?" I asked coldly. I hate interruption.

"Si-sir a certain L-lindsay Castro trying to p-pass here looking for y-you. She said she's your girlfriend." Pagbigay alam ng receptionist.

"Who the f**k is she? I DON’T HAVE A GIRLFRIEND. Tell the guards to take that woman out in the building. And how many times do I have to tell you I DON’T WANT TO BE INTERRUPTED BY SOME BITCHES." Gigil na pinindot ko ang end button.

Napatanga lang ang tatlo. Tsk! My mood is ruin now. I know sanay na ang dalawa but Belle I think she's shock. I can’t help it, she will soon find out this side of me anyway. I know that woman, of course. I meet her in a party then end up in hotel room last week. She has guts to come her huh. Tsk! Desperate b*tch eh.

I look at Belle, as I prefer to call her that... it suit her than Lianna. I saw a glint of fear and disappointment in her eyes. I understand the fear but the disappointment? I choose to ignore it for now and continue what I suppose to say while ago.

"So where are we...oh yes… Ms. Alarcon and Greg, you need to be here before 7 am, I might use the chopper at 10 am. Is that clear?"

"Yes sir." They answered in unison.

"Ok... Lionel ihatid mo na si Ms. Alarcon, I still have to talk to Greg." He stand up making Belle to do the same.

"Have a nice day Ms. Alarcon. Congratulations and welcome."

"Thank you sir. You too have a nice day." She's smiling when she said that, I just nod. That's the cue, they left the room.

"So… she's Gregoria's bestfriend huh. Thank you for leading her to us. She deserve the spot. Just guide her first. Ako na bahala sa maiwan mong trabaho next week. Kailangan ko ring matapos ang mag meetings dito bago magstay sa isla. Rafael is not there kaya ako ang magmomonitor plus the event coming." I said.

"You can count on me Christian. And yes, she's Riaanne's bestfriend. Sisimangot na naman iyon kapag marinig ka n'yang tinawag mong s'yang Gregoria."

"Tsk! I'm sure. Cancel my appointment this afternoon. After lunch hindi na ako babalik. See you on Sunday at the house."

"Okay Sir. But are you sure we are going to use your chopper on monday?" Paninigurado n'ya na may halong panunukso. Napataas ako ng kilay.

"Yes... so?"

"Nakakapagtaka lang, pwede naman kami magpublic transportation papunta ng isla eh." Nakangising sagot nito.

Nagkibit balikat ako.

"Bakit pa? Ayaw mo no'n. Tsk! Minsan talaga napaka-pakialamero mo Greg."

He grin. "Hmm... ako ba? Sabi mo eh."

I'm sure he gave a meaning of what I did. I can see his wide meaningful smile in his face eh. Tsk wala akong aaminin sa kanya.

"Just go now Greg." Pangtataboy ko sa kanya. Nginisihan n'ya lang ako ng nakakaloko.

"I'll go ahead then." Pero bago ito lumabas bumaling ito sa'kin.

"And Christian kapag may gusto kang malaman tungkol sa kanya, free to ask me." At dali-dali na itong lumabas.

Tsk! I'm that obvious kanina? Or Greg just teasing me? Damn! Siguradong may pangtsismis na naman iyon kay mama. S'ya ang spy n'on sa'kin eh. Speaking of my mom. Heck! She keeps telling me to find a girlfriend… as if it's easy. Well… it is now! You found Belle.

Hmm! Hope so.
