Chapter Thirteen

ETHAN'S POV

After we watched a movie, I ordered us pizzas in for dinner Sienna had been really quite and barely touched any food. Sienna went to bed after one slice of pizza and I figured everyone back home would hopefully be awake now. So I got Sids number up to call him.

Ring Ring Ring

"Hey, Everything okay?" Sid asks upon answering the phone.

"Not really, It's been a bad day and before you go off your head just know its being dealt with. But" I start to say when Sid interrupts me saying "What happened? Is Sienna okay?"

"Well we went to one of the offices today for my work. I thought it would be a welcomed break for Sienna as she been so busy and looking stressed. Nevermind the nightmare she clearly had last night in her sleep. But some asshole who was getting fired anyway did attack Sienna she gave way more than he got in and is okay. I obviously intervined as soon as I could" I start to say and Sid is already cursing down the phone before he says "I'm coming over and bringing her back this time".

"Wow, you can't be doing that what if Maria goes into labour! How about I try talking Sienna in coming back sooner. But Sid that's not all in ringing about" I say.

"What else can there be? And if your not on the flight back within the next few days I swear I will come back over myself" Sid says.

"We all thought Sienna never tried reaching out for help. I found out today thats not the case at all. She tried to be saved once. but with miss communication and Sienna running off we never found out. I don't know all the details but she showed up to one of my office buildings in a bad state asking for me only due to a head injury couldn't remember my surname. We wouldn't of ever found out if they hadn't recognised Sienna today. Only with everything happening today Sienna has just been so upset I haven't really found out much more. I'm not even sure how to make her feel better today" I say.

"Great, now I feel even more worse for what I said and her running off. I know I shouldn't of said it full stop but I dunno. You want me to talk to Sienna see if I can maybe cheer her up. I'm not sure she will answer the phone to me though" Sid says.

"She has gone to bed. Maybe try tomorrow. I just wanted to loop you into everything going on this end. How's everything your end going?" I ask.

"I'm not sure who I'd rather be around Sienna or everyone here. Everyone's still pretty mad at me right now. Hopefully Sienna sleep better tonight. Tell you what I will see if I can think of anything and ring you before I go to bed tonight" Sid says.

"Yeah, okay. Right I better go gotta a few hours work to do still before I sleep myself" I say.

"Okay, If you need me in the meantime just ring" Sid says

"Alright, hopefully you have a good day yourself" I say

SIENNA'S POV

I layed in bed and knew Charlie should be awake now so I decided to ring Charlie he always was good at making me feel better when I would ring him before.

Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring

"Hey princess" Charlie says answering the phone.

"Hey, Charlie. Did I wake you up?" I ask.

"Of course not. What's up princess?" Charlie asks.

"How you know something is wrong?" I ask.

"Because you have the same sad voice you have when you would ring me before because you lost a patient. Wait you didn't lose one did you?" Charlie asks.

"I've not heard of any of them losing there battles. But I am sad indeed today. I don't know what to do" I say.

"You know I love hearing from you princess but maybe you should go tell Ethan your sad. He is there with you and will help make you feel better" Charlie says.

"Ethan knows I'm sad and why. He wants to talk about it then we watched a movie. It didn't help" I say

"Princess, trust me Ethan will pull through. If we didn't all have faith in Ethan to help you when you feel sad we wouldn't of left you so easily. And out of us all these past few months its been Ethan who known when to stay calm and when to bring a little fun into your life. He knows the best which hasn't surprised us all one bit... You never realised it before but it always been Ethan who was the best with you. And when the times right you may even figure out why that is. Go find Ethan and tell him your still feeling sad because I know he will sit with you until your feeling better" Charlie says.

"What no, your all equally the same in being protective and nice with me. You can't make out others are better than others" I say.

"Princess, trust me on this. We all love you but its Ethan there with you and I can bet he would use his last breath to make sure your happy over you sat being sad alone" Charlie says.

"Okay" I say.

"Good, now go cuddle up with Ethan until you feel better" Charlie says.

"Alright, you want to say hi to Ethan while your on the phone?" I ask.

"Hmm, no. I've got a meeting with Sid soon which I need to get ready for. I will catch up with you both later though" Charlie says.

"Okay, speak to you later" I say as I sit up and grab the quilt at the same time.

ETHAN'S POV

I was just setting up the laptop laid in bed when I got a text through.

Charlie

You can thank me later. Don't talk about sad things and just be there that's all she needs right now.

what does that mean? I think to myself as Sienna walks in with a oversized quilt wrapped around herself. I guess Sienna and Charlie just spoke then I think to myself as I say "Not tired?".

"Charlie said I should just come cuddle up with you until I don't feel sad. But I still don't want to talk about it" Sienna says as she climbs into the bed. I open my arm out as I go to put the laptop aside.

"It's okay you can still work. I won't disturb you. I will just cuddle up next to you while playing games on my phone" Sienna says cuddling into my side. I rest my arm over her placing the laptop back into place.

I can work like this I think as Sienna unlocks her phone.

"Okay, stay as long as you need" I say going back to my work. Which currently I need to decided what new uniform designs I want for the employees.

"You know I don't have favourites right?" Sienna asks.

"What makes you ask that?" I ask looking down at Sienna and see she is scrolling through her social media pages.

"Charlie was comparing you all. But I don't think anyone is better than anyone else" Sienna says and I can't help smiling..

"Well depends what he was comparing us in. I mean they can do some things better than I can and I can do some things better than them" I say and Sienna stops scrolling and looks up at me.

"whos the better friend to who. But I think we are all equally the same don't you?" Sienna say.

"Hmm, yeah except your the princess of the group" I say.

"You know what I mean" Sienna says

"Yes, I know what you mean" I say laughing as I go back to my work.

"Who do you think Charlie's favourite is?" Sienna says.

"You" I say without having to even think about it.

"Why me?" Sienna asks.

"Because your all our favourite" I says again without needing to think about it. I decide on the new uniforms I want and decide to start me email up with my response.

"Okay, but take me out the group who would Charlie choose do you think?" Sienna asks

"Your never not be out the group, so it doesn't matter who we would all choose" I say laughing whilst typing away.

"I know, but I'm saying say I wasn't just for a second who do you think it would be?" Sienna asks.

"Hmm, I don't know could be any of us. But then it could change I mean Sid isn't Excaulty your favourite right now is he?" I say pausing what I'm trying up to look to see Siennas reaction. I see her eyebrows screw up into a frown and even her eyes are looking a little crunched up.

"Your right, but don't worry I like the rest of you equally still" Sienna says then she opens up the group chat we are all in and types Harry, if you were to have a favourite out of us all who would it be.

I can't help chuckling as I go back to my work ignoring my phone vibrate on the bed next to me knowing full well what it is.

"Who do you think Harry will say?" Sienna says.

"You" I reply while typing away as quickly as possible to finish this email. Then I will put away my work to entertain Sienna and her questions ways this evening I think to myself.

I hear my phone buzz and look at Siennas phone to see Harry has replied You of course princess, why do you ask such a thing.

"Let me guess your gonna ask who it would be if it wasn't you?" I ask Sienna and she looks up and says "Off course, I bet Harry will give a answer as well. Are you not curious to see if it will be you or someone else next?".

My phone buzzes again and I look down at Siennas phone to see Charlie has messaged I thought you were going to annoy Ethan not ask such wild questions in here. You should know by now your all our favourite always have been always will be princess. Ethan you need to step it up so Sienna doesn't feel sad anymore don't make us fly back out.

"Now your getting us both into trouble" I say going back to my typing.

"Don't worry I will fix it. Leave Charlie to me, I reckon his favourite would be Harry look how fast he comes to his defense before I even get to quiz him more" Sienna says and I really can't help but laugh at how ironic all this is turning out to be.

"Alright, I will let you fix it" I say while trying to not laugh to much but my cheekbones hurt from the huge smile I got.

"So I'm saying, Charlie you started this. I know I'm nearly all your favourite minus one mentioning no names. But if I wasn't in the friend group I'm curious who you would all choose without having a princess to keep you lot in check let alone on your toes. And I've just pressed sent" Sienna says as I hear my phone buzz so I already knew that.

Buzz.

"Harry said he wouldn't be able to choose. I think he is lieing" Sienna says as I nearly finish typing up my email.

"Maybe" I say.. Buzz Buzz

"He who shall not be named said its me otherwise he would have to do tik tak toe in order to choose who choose however would switch it daily betweenyou all. And Charlie said the same as you it doesn't matter because its always going to be the princess that wins and only I'm allowed to be the princess".

"See, told you" I say cutting Sienna off but then she says "He also said you should distract me from such thoughts because I'm not allowed to even think of a world with me not in your lifes"

And I quickly send my email then move it away as I say to Sienna "See, you should listen to us all. We haven't had to decide and we don't want to decide. Now what you going to reply to Sid?"

Sienna goes wide eyed before saying "I've nothing to say" then I see she starts to type out a message saying... Okay, I get it you all can't decide and don't want to. Anyway since everyone is awake. Yes Ethan is awake and reading this as in writing it. I've made a decision. Things will be wrapped up here soon thank god. Then I will come back meet the baby or wait to meet the baby after all I promised Maria that and I will keep my word. But once the baby is here I won't be staying long as I'm going on hoilday, I've yet to decide where to go or how long for. You all don't have to worry I will be fine. recommendations however for where to go I will welcome as I really can't decided where will feel the more refreshed and ready to conquer the world again.

With that Sienna pressed the sent button.

"Do what you got to do but please feel free to pack me in your suitcase" I say but no sooner I finish saying it our phones start ringing at the same time and I see its the group chat with Sid being the one to make the group chat call.

I use my free hand to answer the phone as I see Sienna debating it, then I put it on loud speaker saying "Well that was a interesting message, how you all holding up?" While reaching to decline my phone since it was still vibrating away.

"Is this because of Sid?" Harry says before anyone else can answer.

"No, as much as I'd love to say it was it totally isn't. I've been giving it some thought lately and really did think seriously about it earlier while watching a film. I can't even tell you what film me and Ethan watched as I was to busy thinking if I'm honest.. but I think I should go away somewhere with a fresh scenery be by myself for a week or so. I've got so much to process and over come. I need to do it where there isn't shitty memories or I don't have to worry about others tip toeing around me... before you all say it I know you don't literally tip toe around me. But I haven't been alone in a long time. I haven't been able to be my own person for a long time. I know you all mean well, but I've learned a bad habit of worrying about how people see me and if I have a little time alone. Away somewhere new I can just worry about myself without worrying how people are thinking around me. Oh and Sid make sure you tell Maria its not because of the baby. I need to do this for me".

Once Sienna goes quiet for a moment everyone seems to go quiet taking in everything Sienna has said.

"If it's because what I said, I really didn't mean it and I won't see it as you spoiling the first few weeks I have with Maria and the baby. So don't go if that's the reason" Sid says finally.

"It's not" Sienna says.

"In that case take me with you, I'd love a hoilday" Harry says.

"Yeah me to" Charlie says laughing

"That's what I said" I say laughing.

"Your all tone deaf suddenly, I say I want to go on hoilday alone yet you all hear group hoilday" Sienna says shaking her head in disbelief yet she has a little smile forming

"Thats because your all our favourite just like I said" I say making everyone laugh.

"To true" Charlie says.

"Okay, well enjoy your hoilday. Just make sure you send us pictures" Sid says.

"You better hope i don't end up on a farm then" Sienna says and we all know she messing around as we laugh and Harry says "Maybe in your dreams, I think a hoilday Park or Country side lodge would suit you better".

"I dunno Sienna likes the sun maybe a beach hoilday would be better" Charlie says

"Somewhere calm with a sense of peace not to lively though I reckon" I say.

I look down to see Sienna had closed her eyes as if she is resting them.

"That's a good idea" Sid says.

"Yeah, anyway while I remember have you all been taking turns to check in on my place" I say while thinking I shall keep them all talking until Sienna falls asleep.
