Mackenzie’s POV We pull up outside of my bakery, and my heart hammers as I take in the large wooden board that covers one side of my shop. The bakery itself is in darkness, the closed sign hanging in the middle of the door window. I had the foresight to message Eralia and let her know about what happened, telling her not to come in today.
