Chapter 25: Treaties

It has been a rough few months, I had Piot still working on a permanent cure since Lauren has been at her biological mother in the last few months. She has a mansion near the mountainside in a small town so the scenery would do her good, she is still feeling the loss of her mate and he is now happily mated to Princess Zaina. I attended the wedding after King Silas invited me and I had a good time, Marie dropped in to attend with me, and then rejoined my mother with Amara after a few days with me and Jasper. So many things have happened. The Fae twins lost their father a few weeks back and I attended the funeral with Jasper just to learn that Cayden's daughter was kidnapped and Ty was pissed off. I know Ty was not taking it easy, I have been advising King Aidan on certain matters so Jasper has been running Vampora in my absence and doing a damn good job.

As time went on, Ty's granddaughter was located and Lord Fehmir was arrested in connection with the kidnapping but it seems to go deeper than that. I hated when our traitors were so close to us, even Lord Bradley was on thin ice, I had been trying to find out if any traitors were in my camp as well. Aidan went to meditate and my men were summoned to help King Michael find his missing Queen, my men worked with him, and some of Emile's men helped, meeting a few dragons who had surrounded the pack. I was informed from my hotel room about what was happening in real-time and wondered if Alpha Marcus had a death wish. I could only imagine the turmoil both Michael and Emerie were going through because I would go crazy if either of my mates went missing. Aidan has asked my sister to come home but she has not decided if to come home yet because of the life she is living there but we still hold out hope she will return.

Six Months Later

Alpha Marcus was killed in his stunt and Lord Fehmir was on the run, Kolie looked at me and said, "The i***t will die faster than he thought." I know he was mated to his sister but he never told me why they hated each other and I always assumed it had to do with when they were in battle so many years ago. We had tracked down certain ingredients that Marion would need to find an antidote for Lauren but something was missing and because we couldn't locate the exact poison used, anything not done correctly could kill her, and I wasn't willing to risk it unless we were sure it would work. Piot also agreed on this because that was his daughter, and he raised her. Piot felt bad after learning he was the target of the poison but I had to assure him if he had taken it, he would be dead, he promised to find the cure and I believed him.

I had been focused on renewing the treaties in Ravena, Aidan wanted them done as quickly as possible before the big conference in Elvira when I got word that Allison was killed and Cayden was down. I was shocked and joined Jasper in Faeora when I used Marion Crystal to reach there. Ty and Drax were having a talk when I dropped in and they filled us in, Jasper went to offer his help to Michael. A day later, Cayden woke up and I watched the Light Fae almost go dark and his brother looked on happy, Michael always loved a good killing and that's why we are friends. Cayden was angry about what happened to his mate and I could understand that rage. I was talking to Lady Esther as she gave me the file on Lady Kaitlyn, well Queen Kaitlyn now, to pass on to Marion since she often goes to the Underworld.

Two Weeks Later

I was in a meeting with Elijah and Emile, I was waiting on Barron who was always fashionably late but he was happy and loved, so we weren't complaining. Elijah was telling me about a special antidote he was looking for but never who it was for, just that it was for someone dear to him whom he promised to help, so we decided to help him. Aidan wanted the work permits signed as soon as possible so the Elves could finish the railroad connecting territories. Barron's Bears were fast builders so that is where his expertise was needed when he walked in with the biggest hickie on his neck, smelling like his Queen, according to Elijah and we smirked. I guess we all had the same idea this morning, Emile just shook his head saying, "Late as always, Barron." The meeting began and we got down to business when Elijah asked, "Where is the Dark Fae?" Michael had been busy cleaning up the mess that happened downtown and the Arena, with Bradly, so after explaining where he was, we all laughed as I filled in the others on what went down.

Flashback

There were so many ways I wanted to kill him and as Allison stood in front of me looking at him, he was burning holes with his eyes feeling his hate on us and it made me even more protective of my Queen. I was going to make her my priority and what Allison wants, Allison gets, she looked up at me and said, "I love you," before I kissed her again and the crowd cheered. Toffe appeared as we were waiting for him and he said, "What will it be," he said, "Door number two," the door opened as it was a way to remove his wolf so Toffe laughed as he and Ty stood in front of each other. Their eyes glow as they press their palms together chanting the spell and both grab Bradley's wolf spirit, separating him from his wolf, he screams in pain as the blood leaks out his ears and nose.

The wolf spirit howled at them before Addy joined them and shredded his wolf to pieces, her eyes lit up bright feeding off of Ty as he is her mate. Nothing like a mother scorned when it comes to her baby, no matter how old, Bradley was on the ground practically human bleeding and Toffe said, "Oops, wrong door, chose another," and he started crying, "Forgive me, my lord." Allison said, "Forgive you? Where was your mercy when I begged you not to kill me, leaving my daughter without a mother?" I snickered and said, "I heard him say door number one," and Toffe said, "Door number one it is," and a whip appeared with blades. The whip will give him a hundred cuts all at once, so I let Allison do the honors, she whipped him five times and he was bleeding out, but I wasn't ready for him to die, not yet. He looked at me saying, "I know who the Dark Witch is and I will tell you if you spare me."

We weren't going to spare Bradly but he tried to talk his way out of it anyway, even bargaining the knowledge of who was the Dark Witch. Ty was adamant he didn't know and Drax told him we don't need him for that anyway, reading blood and all whether dead or alive but he blurted out who it was anyway. Aura in the room started to slowly suffocate us but I figured we were all angry at the revelation, he took that as a sign to get the upper hand on me but that didn't work. I watched him realize his mistake before his head slid off his neck, I felt relieved as Allison hugged me from behind before we felt the aura of Ty, he was in a rage as Addison held him and said, "We will get her," and Ty hugs her before teleporting.

Toffe was shocked and said, "Wait, teleported," and opened a portal as he had just realized something. I mind-link the cleaners to get rid of Bradley's body as Drax licks my dagger to confirm everything. He smiled as his eyes turned dark green, a symbol of his earth element before saying, "We got a witch to kill." I was so shocked to see that the Supremes unlocked another power, we knew they would get stronger with time but this shocked the whole arena, and then Drax decided to test it out, he also teleported. It was fascinating to see and I guess news would surely spread as I hugged my Queen and headed back to the Palace.

Present Day

Also, the treaties had been laid out and it was time for signatures, everyone made their demand and a special ink would be used because once broken, it can be detrimental to the territory. Ty popped in and we laughed because he was having so much fun with the new power and it showed, he showed us where we would sign, and everything went well. Ty explained how his teleporting power worked and we were glad we could call on them more, he frowned at that but he was playful when he wasn't taking work too seriously. However, he still had Sheila to locate and capture or kill, I told them about spending some quality time together to relax and unwind since the last one didn't go quite according to plan with Sheila's interference in Ty's dreams, and he agreed. We will notify Aidan about a future date and place with the details once everything calms down again. I looked at Elijah looking through the window and something was seriously plaguing his mind and I hoped he opened up to us one day.
