Chapter 9: Prisoners

The Underworld

Jonx

I woke up in darkness feeling alone and scared, I had no idea where I was and I yelled for Elijah, my head started to hurt and then all the memories rushed back to me. I screamed seeing Elijah raise his sword and I saw black, he killed me, the son-of-a-b***h killed me, how could he do this to me? I loved him and he repaid me with death, I knew his second in command hated me but where was I? I saw a light from a doorway and saw a man looking at me before two men walked behind me and put me in chains, he said, "Welcome to your new home, Jonx," and I asked where is this?" He smiled saying, "The underworld," and I froze, I screamed when it dawned on me that I would spend eternity here. I didn't belong here as they dragged me out, I saw fire and lava all about this place, I saw people and demons in chains being tortured and I was scared.

I didn't know what to expect when I was made to stand in front of a scary man who smiled at me and introduced himself as Prince Kuron, the warden of this prison and King Samuel's younger brother. I don't know how long I was chained to this pole, I was weak and sweating profusely, it was hot here and I had no strength or power, they told me that my physical body was destroyed and it was just my spirit here, my soul will be torture for eternity for my crimes, they listed everything I did and I was awaiting punishment from the Demon King. The King came in after another long wait and he said, "Sorry, I was busy, I had a lot of lost souls entering here lately, now I see you were killed by Elijah for your crimes, sorry, but his sword was made here so if he killed you with that, you are ending up here." I asked him, "How long was I here?"

He replied with a smirk on his face, "A few hundred years," I blinked because it didn't seem that long and he said, "Time is different around here, Elijah is mated now, so he not thinking about you," and I yelled, "Shut up, he loved me." He laughed at me and said, "By the way, you will be staying in the lava fields until I find something more fitting for your long stay here." I couldn't believe what the field was, it was a group of demons inflicting pain making me feel what my victims felt as they died over and over again until I was begging for it to stop. I had skin again so I could feel the flesh being ripped off my bones, it started over once I woke up after passing out from the pain for a few seconds over and over again. After a session of torment, I woke up in a cold cell which was a first for me since I got here, I saw two prisoners in the room with me and one looked at me and said, "What are you in for?"

I didn't know what to say because they were strangers until one of them said, "I am Logar, I was here a long time, I fell in battle and I ended up here because I was not a nice person when I was alive, I just wished I had time to have a family to carry on my legacy," and he laughs this evil laugh. I knew he was bad news but I also needed friends and I looked at the guy in the corner alone, he had light brown eyes with gold irises, locks down to the center of his back and skin was like smooth dark chocolate. His physique was immaculate with scars from the torture here and I licked my lips, thinking about what I would do to him if the circumstances were different, he was sexy but he screamed danger, a walking red flag as they would say if he was alive.

Fury

I watched the new guy being placed in the cell and I started to feel crowded in here, I will be tortured again soon once the cycle comes back around to me. I was supposed to be permanently executed a long time ago but they forgot about me as usual, I learned their routines because I plan to escape this place soon and before more people end up in this cell. I decided to befriend the new female guard, she was young and naive, I would charm the pants off her so I could get out of there but first I needed a plan. Later, I was brought out of my thoughts when the new guy awoke and started to form a conversation with Logar. He asked a few questions and then he stared at me, I always get that look and I smiled until he said that he was executed by Elijah, the Vampire King. That caught my attention and say, "Ridge is no longer King," and he looked at me saying, "Ridge died thousands of years ago, Elijah is his grandson ruling Vampora."

I started to laugh asking, "What about Joshua, the Bear King?" He said, "He is dead but his line is alive and kicking, his great-grandson Joe is King, I am not sure if his son took over as yet since so many years have passed." He went on to explain why he was in there and I smiled because the guy had it in him, he was just as crazy as I was and that was the beginning of our newfound friendship. I didn't say much about myself because it was the bears and vampires that put me here and one day, I would get my revenge starting with Ridge's bloodline and then rule Vampora, after enslaving the majority of Bear King's family. Logar started to tell him his story about being the most ruthless Rogue King to ever walk Ravena and I was sure that I heard the stories about him but he wasn't my target at the time, however, things would be different once I returned to the land of the living.

Logar

I remembered being on the battlefield years after the fall of the Supremes and that b***h Vivianne doubled-crossed me, I had that w***e in my bed and she still had me killed. I ravished the pack and stole riches for her, I even found the beautiful Princess Amara and she was a delicacy that I couldn't refuse, maybe I should have mentioned she was my mate and she was able to tame the beast as I buried my c**k deep but I had to take her out to keep the vampires from coming after me and my people because we would never work, I wanted Vivianne. I knew King Elijah, he was ruthless in his killings, he had become his father and no one went into Vampora unless they had a death wish. His warriors were the best in the land and he had a treaty with the Elves, and those motherfuckers don't play, they are an ancient species but they are peaceful until you piss them off. They had very few rogue attacks because of who they were but that didn't mean, that some poor souls tried and were skinned alive.

I heard Jonx's story of why he ended up here and I knew a bit about why Fury was here, we were all linked to Elijah in some form or fashion. I knew I was going to escape with Fury when he gets out but it would seem, we will have to take Jonx with us if we succeed. I want my empire back and start a family that I never had the chance to, believe it or not, I wanted a mate and regretted killing Amara but I was f****d up in the head because I was greedy and wanted to please Vivianne. I will thrive again and this time, I will leave my legacy by building my empire again. We talked for a while until our cycle came around again and we all were tortured for a few hundred years more and I couldn't wait until we were free of this place.

King Samuel

I had finished burying my c**k in the little devilish demon I was seeing, I was going to the surface to meet up with a former lover of mine. I usually don't mix matters with Ravena but she was one of the good ones and we have an understanding of each other, if only I had mated her when I had the chance. I walked through a portal by Wicker Lake, it was not easy to spot and no one can accidentally walk in here unless you have demon blood running through your veins. I saw one of Marion's warlocks waiting on me and he led me into Volterra as a mere humbled guest, it was beautiful here and all eyes were on me. I saw King Dragu and I knew he felt uneasy when I was here because I was seeing Queen Marion when she found out he was her mate. She chose him of course but in a way, he is still insecure about me and I wouldn't make him feel uneasy more than he already does, I respect Queen Marion and her love for him.

King Caspian, the Sea dweller was already there for our meeting and I was surprised he didn't have a woman on his arm, I hadn't seen him in a long time. I heard about his upcoming nuptials through a grapevine and congratulated him, but I don't like the sea much, so I won't be attending. Getting down to business, she wanted to tell us about a prophecy she came across, it stated that the Supremes would return but they didn't know when, they would be a lot stronger from what she told us and I was flabbergasted that we were going to have the ultimate rule again. This time, the moon goddess had a few tricks up her sleeve so it wouldn't go south again and I was all for it. She didn't go into detail only that she needed to help when the time came and she cut our hand giving her our blood.

We trusted Marion so giving blood was the easy part and after our brief banter, I was escorted back to the doorway to the underworld, I was awaiting the Supreme's return and if I knew this was the beginning of some major traffic, I would have come on land a lot sooner just to bathe in the chaos. I returned home to give Marlon and Kuron the news and they were just as shocked as I am, it all made sense when Bjorn and Bastien were summoned years ago to be reincarnated with the Fae Twins, if my documentation is correct. I have never met any rulers in Ravena besides Marion but I would wait until it was time for our rulers to return, the chamberlain twins' demons are our true heirs, only time will tell when they return.
