Tori’s POV I knew my mood was a bit funky, so I warmly accepted the invitation to see the house. Brandon kindly escorted me from the car and watched me as I stood in stunned silence gazing up at the huge ivy-laden manor house that looked like something out of one of my favorite Jane Austen stories. The house fit into the landscape as though they were one and did not detract from the lush greenery around it, and the greenery did not draw attention from the house. As a creature who loved the verdant world of the woods and plains, I was in love with the house instantly. Brandon seemed pleased with my response and offered me his arm to escort me inside.
