Chapter 7: Comfort

Narinig ko ang mga tawag nila pero hindi ako tumigil sa pag takbo.
The knights tried about to stop me, but the Queen stopped them. If they're my real parents then why didn't they find me sooner? If they really love me, they will find a way for us to communicate.
I don't know where I am or what kind of world this is. This must be a dream. The rose must have a curse or something. This can't be real.
"What happened? Why are you alone?"he asked.
I don't know if I should tell him or not. I'm afraid he's just one of them.
"It's fine if you don't want to." He said.
He sat on the floor. Sinundan ko ang kanyang ginawa dahil nangangalay na din ang mga paa ko. He offered me a hand.
"I'll tell you." I said.
I feel like I wouldn't be able to calm down or think straight if hindi ko ito masabi sa iba. I told him what happened and also how I feel about it. Surprisingly he's a good listener.
"You know what? You don't have to be angry with them. Maybe they're just trying to protect you from danger."He said.
"Then why didn't they take me back sooner?" I asked.
He doesn't know anything too. I rolled my eyes and wiped the tears I'm holding back. Naguguluhan kasi ako. I'm crying because of anger that I can't let out within me.
"I know everything, but I'm not in the right position to tell you everything you want to know." sabi niya.
"bakit? It's still the same. It doesn't matter who will say it."
He faced me. Tinanggal niya ang buhok na nakaharang sa mukha ko at pinunasan ang luha ko.
"Of course it does. You just have to understand it."He said.
Why do I trust every word he's saying? He's not compelling me isn't he?
"I can't compel anyone. It's your choice to believe it. Come here. I'll show you something cool."
He tapped the floor beside him. Umusog ako at umupo sa tabi niya. He raised his hand at lumabas ang isang mainit na apoy. I almost moved back pero wala akong naramdaman na kahit init.
The next thing a blue fire appeared. Inikutan niya 'yong apoy na lumiliyab. The blue fire hugged the red fire.
What the hell... so this is why he asked me if I believe in real magic?
"Who do you think is more intense? The blue or the red one?"
"Obviously the red one."
Syempre lumiliyab liyab pa nga eh.
"Wrong. The blue one is more intense and angry."
"Crazy. Why would the blue one hug the calm fire if he's angry?"
"That's the point. No matter how angry you are, you should still love and cherish people in your life."
Natahimik ako. That wast the simpliest and meaningful words I ever heard from someone. Dane is suprisingly good at comforting other people. I wonder if he has problems in life.
"You can't hate them for what happened. I was there. You were living happily in the mortal world while they suffer here. I'm not saying this to make you feel guilty. Gusto ko lang malaman mo yung mga bagay na ginawa nila para sa'yo."He said.
Pinunasan ko ang luha na lumabas sa mata ko. I was rude towards them. That was so immature of me.
"Thank you."I said to Dane.
He only smiled and wiped the last tear that dropped in my other cheek.
Sinamahan ako ni Dane hanggang sa labas ng aking kwarto. I smiled at him and went inside my room. Tumingala ako at inikot ang paningin sa buong kwarto.
The ceiling was well made and has a carvings in it. The whole room has a white, Gold and slightly touch of blush pink theme. Lumaki ang mata ko ng makakita ng mini stage. Woah!
There are different instruments here also.
I turned when I heard the door opened
"Hi!"
A girl said. She's the same age as me I guess. What is she? Maid?
I don't think so. She's pretty and her hair is purple.
"Uh... Hi?"Sabi ko.
She came closer and that's when I saw her stunning purple eyes.
"I'm Luna,"
She lend her hand and I accepted it.
"Do you have a surname?"I asked.
"We don't use surnames in here. Only a mortal and witches has one."
Mortal? Then I'm a mortal? because I have my own surname.
"Mortal?"
"Mortal people yung mga nakasama mo in the mortal world."
"I don't understand what's going on. Anong mortal world?"
Maybe they sent Luna to help me understand. Wala akong ni isa na naintindihan well except the thing that I'm a mortal.
"I'm sorry princess. I'm not here to answer your questions. I'm here to provide you things that you want and need. Siya ang sasagot ng tanong mo."she presented a air in her left side.
Uh? She left and that's the last thing she said. Eh wala namang tao dito?
"Hey!"
I covered my ears when I heard something. Mag isa lang naman ako sa kwarto. Tumingin ako sa gilid ko at napaatras sa gulat.
"Hello," Sabi nito.
"What the f**k!"I cursed when I saw a little thing flying beside me and talking.
How can he talk? He looks like a stuff toy. I grabbed him and searched for the battery storage.
"Aray!" Sigaw nito.
Oh my God! He's not a stuff toy! He can feel pain plus! May pakpak siya sa likod.
"Are you a fairy?" I asked.
"No. I'm your guardian."he said.
What guardian? Does he mean guardiya? Isn't he too small and weak to guard me? Napatingin kami sa may pinto ng bumukas iyon, Si Dane.
"Dane! Who's this little... looking fairy?"I asked.
"His name is Bubblebee. He's here you to protect you from the enemies."he said.
Too much names to remember hilong hilo na ko.
This little fairy will protect me? I doubt that. I could be dead while he only scratched an enemy. There are also maid inside my room waiting for me to call them and do their duties.
I sat on the couch. Pagod na ko. My brain and body is tired. I want to go home and live my old life.
"I'm tired. Can we just continue this tommorow?"I asked and massaged the temple of my head.
"Okay. We'll start tomorrow then. I'll tell you everything you want and needed to know."He said sounding so mature with his little body.
That's good then if he'll answer all my questions.
I'm not sure if I want to stay here or go back to the 'mortal world' they say.
Lumabas na siya at naiwan si Dane na nakatayo habang nakatingin sa'kin. Inangat ko ang tingin ko at tinaasan siya ng kilay.
"What?"
"Sungit. Does your head hurt?"
Sumimangot ako lalo pero tumango para sagutin ang tanong niya. He sat beside me and removed my hands from my head.
"Ano ba..."Walang gana kong sabi.
I didn't realize we're now too close to each other. Hindi niya ako pinansin at minasahe ang ulo ko. I closed my eyes 'cause it felt good. Is there anything that he can't do?
