The past two hours seemed to have flown by. The tranquillity of our lodge didn’t remove the uproar of what happened earlier, but at least for now, I knew we were on our own and could devise a strategy to work out what the hell was going on with Tia.
This lodge was Kieran and I’s safe place. A second home, a space for us to forget our world and just be… normal. It was located on the outskirts of the city where the busy life of the humans, met the quiet peacefulness that was the forest. We owned all the lodges dotted around our territory, but this was our favourite and designated for the Alpha and Beta’s use only.
