The night of the invasion.
“Let me go!” I shouted with all my might as we entered a big house two blocks away from the camp. But no matter how I try to let go of Kuya Edison’s grip, he’s much stronger than me.
“Isara niyo agad ang gate!” He just said ignoring me. Then I heard someone is pulling the gate. Ibinaba lang ako ni kuya noong nakapasok na kami sa malaking bahay. Everything inside was a mess due to scattered household items.
“W-Wala na bang zombies dito?” Nagpalinga-linga si Ate Linda sa paligid.
“Let’s check,” ani Ate Kim and check the perimeters with Kuya Peter.
I should be helping them, but my head is clouded, and all I think of now is El. Halos hindi ko na makita ang nasa harap ko dahil sa muling pamumuo ng mga luha ko.
