Kayson I move my hands through the air, reversing and rewinding the last five minutes. Myself, Hel, Fenrir, and Loki haven’t moved from the position we’re in. I could have removed them and sent them back five minutes, but it wouldn’t make any difference. Like watching a movie on rewind, Brendan’s body lifts into the air. The bullet flies backward out of his head, and the wound seals itself. The window fixes itself as words are spoken backward. Then the scene rights itself, and we’re right back to the moment Brendan speaks his lies about knowing Hel. I should have left him dead, but that wouldn’t have been fair.
