Dinner was finally over and it was time for the meeting. Aunty had already left the table alongside Lia and her Mum, and moved towards the other room for dessert, leaving just me and James at the dining table, still typing on our phones. I had ignored Lia after she tried to talk to me by tapping my shoulders, and asking if I was coming.
She was not in anyway acting like someone that was ready to give up and it made the whole meeting all the more useless
