It’s been two days since I ran away from home, and I was still wandering in the woods. I had no clue about where I was, or where I was going but I did not care. The more I kept walking, the farther I was away from the life I once knew and that was all that mattered.
I had always had it in mind to leave everything and everyone behind but I never for once found the courage to go through with it. Father always preached about being a good girl and the perfect sister to my brothers, and I always felt sorry for having to abandon them
