Chapter eleven

1400 Words

Shane’s POV   I knew right away where to look for my mother. We went towards the well-known hall where the library was.  “Mother,” I called out as we walked through the door.  “Oh, sweetie! I’m so very sorry that we didn’t tell you sooner,” my mother gushed, brushing right past me and engulfed Lia in a big hug. “I hope you can find it in you, to forgive us,” my mother mumbled.  “Mother you’re suffocating her!” “Sorry,” she said as she stepped back.  Lia grabbed my mother’s hand and gave it a squeeze.  “It’s okay. Shane and I already talked it through,” she reassured my mother. "I understand why you all did what you did."  “That is wonderful news! Now what can I do for you two?” she asked. “I assume there is a reason for barging in here in such a hurry?” she said raising her brow.
