The officials sent by the Tier 4 King to coronate his son in his Kingdom were initially taken aback by Jax’s barbaric behaviour.
They had likely expected to encounter a weakling due to all they have been hearing, but Jax shattered any preconceived notions they may have had along the way.
He made it clear that he was not a sheep but a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and a dangerous wolf at that.
“I ask once again, does anyone still have something to say?”
Jax repeated, his voice filled with authority.
This time, the officials snapped out of their dazed state.
The one who appeared to be leading the envoy stepped forward, pointing a trembling finger at Jax.
“How dare you kill the officials sent by the Royal Court of King Jayden B...,”
The leading official began, but hesitated at the end, He was clearly cautious about using any derogatory terms like “bastard,” as he had witnessed the consequences of such an insult earlier.
While he may have wanted to make a strong impression in front of his colleagues, he didn’t want to meet an untimely demise.
He carefully chose his words to avoid crossing Jax’s dangerous path.
“You are all within the boundaries of my kingdom, Disrespecting me implies a lack of respect for the king of this land, which gives me the right to punish you according to my laws,”
Jax firmly responded, refusing to back down.
“You seem to have forgotten something. It is not the weak who decide who deserves punishment, but rather the strong who can evade consequences. I can see that you lack manners, and today, on behalf of your father King Jayden, I will teach you some,” the envoy coldly retorted.
“Warriors, attack!”
The envoy official shouted at the top of his voice.
The 200 soldiers who had been waiting outside the palace instantly prepared to storm in.
However, their senses tingled with danger, and upon surveying their surroundings, they realized they were being targeted.
Over 100 archers were positioned around the building, their arrows pointed directly at them, the envoy’s forces.
At that moment, they knew that any unnecessary movement on their part would lead to certain death.
The Archer alone was enough to make them fear for their lives, let alone the barbarian soldiers standing before them, With 200 barbarian soldiers blocking their way forward and Backward, there was no escape. They had been trapped.
“Where are your guards?”
The leader of the envoy sneered at Jax, arrogance evident on his face.
“I advise you to kneel and beg for mercy now, or else your palace will be demolished the moment they arrive.”
But before the envoy’s wish could come true, it was Connor who walked in.
He was accompanied by five barbarian soldiers who were dragging the captured Orc king and his two generals behind them.
The sight of the green-skinned creatures caused the envoy officials to tremble in fear.
One of them, who had lost his hands earlier, even fainted upon seeing the orcs.
“This...this...what is he doing here?” the top official stammered, pointing at the captured Orcs being taken to the office by Jax’s soldiers.
“The reason you did not encounter me at home is because I went out and killed thousands of them,” Jax explained, pointing at the orc king.
“This is a Orc king and his generals who have invaded my territory. They are all that remains of their army.”
The envoy officials gasped in disbelief.
“Impossible! How could you single-handedly kill over a thousand orcs?, You don’t have a proper squad to face such a threat!”
“I don’t think the secret of how I was able to kill them is any of your business,” Jax retorted.
“Our only business together is for you to begin the coronation ceremony and swiftly leave my kingdom, I have tolerated enough of your bullying and snotty attitude.”
As he spoke, Jax released waves of Qi energy, making it difficult for the envoy officials to even catch their breath.
After witnessing the hopeless situation they were in, the leading envoy quickly proceeded with the coronation.
As Jax sat on his throne, with his sword still drenched with blood.
As he was crowned and presented with his scepter of command and other necessary items for ruling, the image of a king dripping with blood, his crown radiating an aura of power, was etched into the minds of the envoy officials.
It was a domineering and imposing picture, no matter how they tried to interpret it.
A small bronze star flew up to the skies as it showed that the lands have acknowledged him as king.
The envoys hastily fled the kingdom when they were done, refusing Alicia’s offer to stay the night.
They were eager to return with their squad of two hundred soldiers, fearing the possibility of losing their heads if any further conflict arose.
Their mission was to report to King Jayden in the capital and deliver a message to the person who had sent them on this errand – That Jax was no pushover.
He was an unconventional king who seemed to disregard consequences, unlike other nobles.
The townspeople flooded the palace to congratulate their newly crowned king.
They cheered him on, showing their support and admiration.
By Jax’s side stood his queen, holding his hand and beaming with pride. She was truly proud of him.
Just as Jax was waving to the crowd, his system sent him a notification.
[ system has detected a crown and scepter of power do you want to integrate it to your self and make them your king armament (Y/N)]
Jax chose to momentarily ignore the message, realizing that it was not the only matter he needed to attend to.
He planned to investigate it later, once he returned to his palace. For now, he wanted to revel in the joy of his subjects' company and enjoy the moment.
