The battle concluded in less than twenty minutes, with the Orc King and his other two Tier 2 subordinates swiftly captured like helpless chickens. Jax was astonished by the lack of support needed from the archers, who only fired three salvos of arrows, killing a mere hundred and fifty Orc warriors. Before the barbarian soldiers showcased their incredible strength by easily rounding up the remaining Orcs. The Orcs could only scream in fear as the arrows from the archers claimed their lives, unable to avoid being struck in vital areas no matter how they defended themselves. These archers seemed godlike, capable of annihilating any opponent below the Tier 1 warrior realm with each draw of their bows. The battle came to a close without the two Heroes even needing to participate, as Connor skillfully led his warriors. Standing atop the hill, emanating the presence and prestige of an instinct commander, While the Archer Queen remained by Jax's side throughout. Unfortunately, Jax never had the opportunity to showcase his own skills or test his powers against the Orcs. It was only now that Jax truly understood the terrifying strength of the evolved barbarian soldiers, and he realized that his investment in recruiting them had been far from wasted. Observing the soldiers subdue the three Tier 2 Orcs, who were tied up on Connor's orders to keep them alive for their value, like torturing answers out of them later, Jax couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. [ Invasion Battle Won!!! – Rewards to be distributed ] [ 100,000 Coins gained for killing Tier 1 Common Orcs ×1000] [ 50,000 Spirit Coins gained for killingTier 1 Common Orcs ×1000] [ 1000 Tier 1 Fragment Experience Coupons Gained for killing Tier 1 Common Orcs x1000] Jax's mouth hung open in awe as he surveyed the rewards he had received for slaying about a thousand Orcs. It was enough to propel him straight to the level 2 kingdom ran, If he utilized these rewards wisely, he wouldn't have to worry about how to increase his strength. Not only did the Orcs provide him with valuable rewards, but they also emphasized that by eliminating his enemies, he stood to gain a lot. This revelation left Jax hopeful that a war would break out soon. If the rewards continued to be this lucrative, he could always recruit new soldiers to fill the void left by those who perished. This advantage gave him a strong position in replenishing and strengthening his army. Closing his system, Jax planned to review the rewards in more detail once he returned to his kingdom. Walking over to Connor, who was overseeing the soldiers collecting valuable items from the Orcs, Jax admired the skillful touch of the barbarian soldiers. As They efficiently looted the corpses, leaving no gold coin behind. Some of the barbarians had already unleashed their auras, effectively deterring the Wolves mounts left from attempting to flee. With all the Orcs slain, the wolves now belonged to him as spoils of war. "It seems like your soldiers are experts at this," Jax complimented, noticing the thoroughness with which they robbed the Orcs. "Well, we have to prove our worth to the queen," Connor replied, smoothing out his disheveled hair. "Otherwise, she won't let us hear the end of it when we return to town." Jax was surprised to see that his wife's greed for treasure had transformed his soldiers into professional bandits. He had never explicitly informed her that they were going to kill Orcs, merely mentioning that they were going to slay some "beasts." While he did view the Orcs as beasts, he had used the term to manipulate his wife's perception. Unfortunately, this had led her to ask Connor to bring back treasure, assuming they would acquire parts from demonic beasts. Jax could already envision the expression on his wife's face when she saw the armors, wolves mounts and blades instead of the demonic beast parts she had been expecting. He knew he would be the one receiving a scolding today. -- Meanwhile, not far from Jax's kingdom, several Tier 2 and Tier 3 Orc Kings were gathered around a round table, engaging in a tense discussion. There were about ten of them, each eyeing the others with suspicion. "That i***t Rat-Tul Sar went towards the human kingdoms without even informing us, How dare he do that," one of the Tier 2 Kings exclaimed in annoyance. "I heard he received information from a reliable source about a weak human king in a remote corner of the mountain forest." " He led a strong force of about a thousand Orc soldiers, along with his two generals, with the intention of gaining the first battle merits before the king officially starts the invasion," another Tier 2 Orc King explained. "He's just an i***t. The kingdom he attempted to attack may seem weak, but it actually belongs to the son of that Tier 4 human king that our Lord master has his eye on." " If the king left experts to protect his spoiled son in secret, Rat-Tul Sar and his entire army are as good as dead," ATier 3 Orc King interjected, revealing his superior knowledge on the situation. " What should we do now? " Another Orc King inquired, directing the question to the person standing with his back facing the group. He had his hands crossed behind him and his long hair tied in a ponytail. His muscular frame was adorned with tribal tattoos, he was also the leader of this small alliance of kings. He was the only king among them whose kingdom strength was nearing the Tier 3 kingdom level, which called for the respect showned to him, as the Orcs belived in strength . "We all know that the battle will only begin when our Lord releases us Kings on them," he declared, finally turning to face the others. "I have received information from our superior that we will soon march to conquer that land." "It will be our first step into the wastelands, so we just need to wait a little longer, If Rat-Tul Sar is lucky enough to emerge victorious," " we will receive a message from his messenger bird, Until then, we must await the orders from above," the leader Orc stated, stroking his braided beard. The remaining Orcs nodded in agreement, despite their belief that humans were a weaker race compared to them. Nevertheless, they didn't wish to die in vain. Their teeth clenched with anger whenever they thought of Rat-Tul Sar, who had the audacity to launch an attack first. If he succeeded, he would accumulate an abundance of battle merits. Little did they know, the one they envied was already captured by the very kingdom they had underestimated.
