"Supreme Reji," a man in black robe and black mask kneels in front of Nedostojan clan's current leader. He is sitting on a chair for the leader of the clan, facing over one hundred Nedos, all kneeling in front of him. They are in the dark meeting hall in Zao's palace.
"What's your news?" he asked. He waited for the spy to speak up.
"The men we sent to the capital were all dead. Master Fujin and General Vinz were there, and killed our two loyal men. I killed the third one to keep the secret mission," the spy explained.
"You made the right decision." Supreme Reji stood up from his chair and walked back and forth in front of his trusted people. "Send five men to spy, and choose the stronger ones. Once they get the chance to complete the mission, do it."
"Yes, Supreme Reji." He nodded.
"Has anyone noticed the hole in the barrier between the mainland and the Nedos island yet?" He is rubbing his black mustache while waiting for the answer.
He shook his head slowly. "Not yet, Supreme Reji. I doubt they will find out soon. It's just as big as two people to cross the border."
"Very well. Go back to the capital and continue doing your task," he commanded.
"Yes, Supreme Reji." The black-robed man stood up and turned around. He left the hall immediately after reporting to the clan leader.
"The day that I have dreamed of is about to come, soon," he said to his people. "We will no longer be a cast out of Fantazija. We will regain our reputation."
"I believe in the Supreme Commander. We will follow what Supreme Reji says," everyone said these words repeatedly.
Czarina and her friends are walking back to the training field for the next subject, combat training.
"Czarina, have you heard that immortal god Pegaz has been missing for almost sixteen years?" Maple asked. "Not really missing. They don't really show up to commoners, but she has not shown her face even to the royal family since then."
"Does anyone know her personally, aside from the royal family?" she asked. "Why would she be missing? She's probably on a journey or something."
"Maybe," Maple whispered. "Maybe she is now married and has her own family? It's tiring to live for five hundred years and still be single, right?"
"She's really that old?" Her jaw dropped. She can't imagine someone living that long.
"She also fought during the war back then. She's awesome, right? She's immortal, what can we do? She doesn't get old. Age is just a number to them." She held Czarina's hand. "I want to stay young forever like that, too."
"I think that will be impossible if we stay at the intermediate level," Yin said, he walked beside Czarina. "We need to do something to be stronger and break through to the lord level. I wonder if there is a way to make it faster."
"Well, there is," Maple said. "But it's risky."
"What is it?" Valk and Sirie said in unison, they were just listening to them but got interested when they heard about the way to level up faster.
"You both startled me," Maple complained. "They said there's a night market that sells different items, including the rare green pearl from a one-hundred year old supreme level beasts. It is used to boost spiritual power and break through to a higher level."
"We need that!" all of them said it at the same time, including Kev.
"Where is that night market?" Valk asked.
"I heard from my father's soldiers, it's difficult to find it. It is engulfed with magical smoke to cover it up. Basically, it's an underground market and they are selling illegally, right under the nose of the king." Maple looked at Kev, she grinned awkwardly.
"I don't mind if it is an underground market. I want that green pearl," Kev said. "I haven't seen one my whole life. Let's find it tonight."
Everyone was in awe upon hearing it from the prince himself. "A royal rule breaker," Czarina said, teasing the prince.
" I love to be different anyway." He winked at her. "Let's plan it ahead."
Czarina wanted to disagree, but she is also curious about that green pearl from a one hundred-year old supreme level beast.
"Okay, we will talk it over after the class," she replied.
"Great! I knew you would be my partner in crime," Kev said. "You may find it weird, but I like you."
Yin's eyes went wide upon hearing it, immediately turned to Kev with a strange look. Czarina's and Maple's jaws dropped. The siblings were also shocked.
"What?" she asked.
"Oops! Don't get me wrong. I mean I like you as a person, you seem so familiar to me. Like a long lost relative or something," he said. He was alarmed that Yin gave him a suspicious, killer look.
"At least you made it clear." She let out a deep breath. "Don't shock me like that."
"Sorry." Kev glanced at Yin who remained quiet and serious. He laughed so hard when he realized the reason why his friend acted like that. "Can we talk?" He placed his arm around Yin and pulled him away from the group.
"What?" Yin asked irritably.
"You have feelings for Czarina, right?" he asked. "Don't deny it."
"Of course not!" he strongly denied it, but ended up sounding guilty.
"You're so obvious. Don't worry, I see Czarina as a friend and a close relative. She's yours," he assured him.
Yin scratched the back of his head. He can no longer deny it to the prince. "I'm sorry about earlier, I was just shocked."
Czarina was watching the two walking while talking, not too far from her, but she couldn't hear them. They seem like they are talking over something so serious. "What do you think they are talking about?" she asked Maple.
She shook her head. "No idea."
Czarina just shrugged her shoulders and ignored the two. They proceeded to the training field.
