"You wouldn't dare to do that or I will end your life right here," Master Fujin warned him.
"I want to become like him, so dignified," Valk whispered, referring to Master Fujin.
"Surrender now or you will regret this." General Hao drew his sword, he lowered the sword grip to the middle while the blade was pointed up. The point aimed at any opponent's chest and the hilt was held to the side of the hip joint, then he made a single small step using his right foot backward and bent the left knee in front.
The other two men in black robes faced General Hao, while the leader faced Master Yin. The three men raised both arms and formed black energy ball, and prepared to release it.
"I warned you," Master Fujin didn't waste time. He disappeared in a snap ang appeared in front of the leader. He slashed him using a criss cross diagonal downward s***h. It was so quick that almost no one saw what happened. The leader fell and died immediately.
General Hao charged forward and took down one of the two black robe men, one stab at his chest and a s***h at the right abdomen.
"Did you see their moves?" Yin asked while his eyes were wide open.
Czarina shook her head. "Not at all."
The leader's third companion retracted, the black energy ball in his hands disappeared. He was about to raise his hands as a sign of defeat and surrender when he suddenly fell on the ground, lifeless.
Everyone was shocked by what happened. General Hao told his men to check on him. "He was hit by this, General Hao." One of the soldiers pointed at the neck of the third black robe man. The general walked closer to see what the soldier was pointing at. Master Fujin also came close to the dead bodies.
"What's happening?" Czarina asked Yin back.
"I don't know. The guy just fell down by himself." He shrugged his shoulders. They came closer to listen to what they would find out.
"This is a cyclone throwing star from the Nedostojan. The seal of a black bull is engraved on it." Master Fujin stood up, and touched his beard. "What do they need in the capital? How did they get into the mainland? They are totally banned here."
"We will find that out." General Hao called his men. "Take these bodies away. Some of you should disperse and find their cohorts." The soldiers picked the bodies and started to disperse.
Master Fujin went back to his students. "Go back inside and continue your lunch. Everything is under control," he said. "Also, don't go out at night. They still have their cohorts in the city."
"Yes, Master Fujin," everyone responded.
"That was pretty scary," Serie said. "They even threatened to kill the citizens of the capital."
"I know. I'm glad Papa is here." Maple walked towards her father.
"Maple," General Hao called his daughter's name.
"Papa," she greeted her father. She hugged him and looked up to him. "What was that about? What happened?"
"They were caught spying in the capital. When some soldiers tried to approach them, they immediately ran and started throwing those black energy balls. We still need to fix the damage they have done in the capital." He pointed at the smoke not far away from them. "Get in and don't go out alone. It's dangerous."
"Yes, Papa," she promised.
"Are they your friends?" He looked at Valk, Sirie, Yin and then to Czarina. "How have you been? You moved here to study? How's your father?"
"He's doing perfectly fine, General. I just found out earlier that Maple is your daughter."
"I'm glad Maple found friends here." He looked at Kev. "Your Highness?!" He immediately bowed to the prince.
"That's fine. Your daughter is my friend, too." He smiled like an angel. "I'll take care of her while she is here."
"Thank you, Your Highness. I'm at ease now after hearing that." He looked at her daughter and winked. Maple was blushing but she didn't react. "I have to go now, Maple." He kissed her on her forehead and called his men to follow them.
All students started walking back to the campus. Czarina and her friends were still talking about what happened.
"Your father is so awesome!" Valk said. "He stood like this, and then he held his sword like this, then he killed the bad guy in a second!" He was copying the general's moves while talking.
"You are so obsessed with swords, brother, but you suck at it," Serie teases Valk. "It will take ages before you become like him."
"I will practice really hard to reach his level. He is so amazing! I found someone I could look up to!" He pointed at his chest. "I will become a general someday!"
"But you whispered earlier, you want to become an instructor like Master Fujin." Serie laughed. "I heard you."
"Can't I change my mind, Sister? You always contradict me." He complained.
"What do you want to be, Serie?" Czarina asked. "Or who do you want to be like?"
"I don't know yet." She shrugged her shoulders. "I haven't found anyone that could inspire me yet. I hope I can find one here."
"I want to be like my mother," Maple said. "She is kind, pure, loving, caring, and passionate."
"That's awesome, Maple," Kev said. "I'm sure you will become like your mother."
"Thank you." She smiled at him.
"Let's head back to the dining hall and finish our lunch. We left so much food, such a waste," Czarina said. "There are too many kids who starve out there, let's not waste so much food."
"There are starving people in the kingdom?" Kev asked. He could not believe what he heard. "I see prosperity in the capital. Sure, not everyone is rich here, but I have not seen one kid starving on the street."
"You should get out of the capital sometimes and see the situation in small villages. Not everyone is lucky like the people in this town." Czarina sighed. "I have seen the worst."
"I'd like to see it with my own eyes. I want to know what I could give to help my country and the people." Kev's eyes showed loneliness but with courage. Hoping one day he can do something amazing for the citizens of Zariste Kingdom and the entire Fantazija.
At the corner of the street across the school, a suspicious shadowy figure of a man with a hat carefully walked away, trying to hide his presence from everyone.
