CHAPTER 28: IMBALANCE OF POWERS

"Master, do you have a child?" Czarina asked Master Kenjie while they were eating breakfast. They are on the second floor, occupying the large table. Even Jed dined with them, but he was just quietly eating. Valk is still in the infirmary. "I and Ice---" He cleared his throat. "decided not to have a baby and enjoyed our lifetime together just the two of us." "But you have been living for hundreds of years..." Czarina did not continue her sentence to avoid offending her Master. He nodded. "I know. I will talk to her about it once she is back. I also want to have a child of my own." A sudden shaking of the ground happened. It was so strong that all of them held tight on whatever they could grab. The furniture, glasses and plates all fell and broke. The wall of the dining areas got cracked in every part. "What exactly is happening?" Master Kenjie stood up and concentrated. His qi energy flowed in his body, and was spread out up to five kilometres in radius. "This is not good." "Why, Master?" Kev asked. "There is an imbalance of power that is why earthquakes have been happening lately." Master Kenjie is worried. "I need to go back to heaven..." He realized he was in disguise. "I mean where I've been. I will ask around." He left the table and walked slowly going downstairs. The shaking slowly stopped. "What do you think about what the Master said about imbalance of power?" Czarina asked Kev. Kev shrugged his shoulders. "I have no idea, but it sounds really bad." Master Kenjie looked around to see if anyone was looking. When he made sure no one was around, he changed his physical appearance back to original. He then looked up and a blue ray of lights shone above his head. It engulfed him and made him disappear. He appeared in a huge white palace within the clouds. It was solemn and quiet when he arrived. "Kenjie?" a male voice from his back called his name. He looked around and saw Tigar, the god of Earth element. "How long has it been since you went back to heaven?" "Tigar," he greeted his old friend. "Something is going wrong in the Fantazija world. What is happening? There are several earthquakes down there and the people are in danger." Tigar sighed. "You know Fantazija's balance exists from elemental gods. If one vanishes, there should be someone replacing that god." "Someone vanished?" Anxiety showed in Master Kenjie's face. He is worried of Ice. "Siren is missing, and we are worried that the dark forces took her. As you know, imbalance happens when one elemental god is in danger of dying." Tigar walked towards the harp and sat in front of it, thinking of the music he needed to play to calm down. "As you know, Pegaz is still missing." "Ice, too," Master Kenjie added. Tigar rashly stood up. "What?!" "Yes, she is. She has not returned for six months now. I thought it was normal, she always travels alone for adventure, but I heard about Nedos being in the capital. It worries me." "This is getting serious," Orao said. He came closer to Kenjie and Tigar. "We should find them. Ice, water and fire elements are essential to maintain the balance of the Fantazija world. We haven't found the right disciples yet to replace us in the near future." "I found them," Kenjie said. "I think I found the right disciple for you." "You found a wind element controller?" Orao asked. "Where is he?!" "He is in the Academy. He is friends with Prince Kev." Kenjie was shocked when Orao prepared to leave. "Wait a second, where are you going?" Orao gave him a puzzled look. "I want to meet the wind controller you mentioned." "Are you just going to pop on his face and tell him he will be your disciple?" He finds it absurd. "Introduce me then. Come with me." "Wait, we have a bigger problem to resolve. What are we going to do with the missing gods?" Kenjie asked. Tigar was just amused watching them. "We just need to find their replacements, our problems will be solved." "Hold on, I will not let Ice die somewhere like that," Kenjie complained. "We need to find them." "Of course we will find them," Orao said. "But we need to have a plan B. We need to find the right element controllers, just in case one of us dies, someone will inherit our divine powers." "How about me? Have you found one for me?" Tigar asked Kenjie. "Yes, she is an amazing Earth element controller, and the prince is eyeing on her." "I will come with you then. Introduce me to her." Tigar and Orao prepared to leave. "Just hold on again," Kenjie stopped them. "Let's plan first on how and where to find the other gods." "Okay, we will talk about it later once we find our disciples, okay? We still need to look for the fire controller," Orao said. "I already found her, and she is a dual elements controller." Kenjie closed his eyes, trying to hold his anger. "Dual elements?" Orao was fascinated when he heard it. "Are you serious?" "I believe she is Pegaz' daughter who went missing. She is half immortal." He waited for any violent reaction from the two gods, but they were both speechless. "Kenjie," a voice echoed around the palace. The three of them immediately knelt upon hearing the mysterious voice. "Almighty," Kenjie responded. "Protect that child, all of you. She will be the future of Fantazija. She is the precious child of the royal lineage and the gods," The Almighty commanded. "We obey your command, Almighty." They glanced at each other. "You have no choice but to bring us to them now." Tigar grinned. Kenjie sighed. "Let's go and meet them. They need training. Tons of training to be able to hold the divine powers we have."
