I wasn’t sure about the idea of a gender reveal party. I’d had to look it up when Ash invited me, and the stories of pyrotechnics going wrong- starting fires and severely injuring people- made me wonder if the hormones had completely taken all the sensibility right out of Kayla. I understand wanting to know what you’re hatching, but there’s something to be said for keeping it a surprise, too.
Thankfully, Ashlynn and Tone avoided anything that was potentially hazardous to anyone’s health.
