It'd been exactly two weeks since my talk with Michael, and Titus had continued to do anything and everything he could to come near me without looking suspicious. His posse had permanently stayed at the table beside us, much to my pack's dismay. He went out of his way to force the football Coach to practice beside the soccer teams. Titus also, by some means, persuaded all the teachers to make us sit together in the classes that we had together.
I was dumbstruck.
We didn't talk. He just stared like some creep, but I had to hand it to the boy. I was impressed and I secretly enjoyed the attention. He would sometimes flirt or whisper things in my ear when people weren't looking, but I'd push him away.
I did, however, take notice to the fact that he never had a girl with him anymore. He surrounded himself with his higher ranking packs but all of them were males. Sometimes a stray girl would suddenly appear beside him, but he would push her away like he didn't see the girl.
Castiel had been away for the past week and so had Savannah. The Harries' left for Aunt Sofia's old pack, Windrunner, to visit the grave of Cas and Sav's grandfather. They always did this every few months.
Since the Harries' were gone, it left me, Michael, and Josh all alone. Josh looked empty, missing his fights with Savannah, while Michael would try to console him.
I, on the other hand, missed Savannah a lot because mainly I wanted to tell her that Cynthia cheated yet again, which led to another break off.
Castiel and I would text and he would call whenever he could. I felt immensely guilty whenever he would tell me he missed me because to be fairly honest, I didn't miss him as much as I used to.
Don't get me wrong. I loved Castiel but somehow my emotions for him suddenly shut off. I grumbled when Josh started wailing like a child, saying that he missed his cheerleader best friend. Michael, frowning, back-handed Josh when people were giving our table weird looks.
It was my first soccer game today and I was pumped. The whole school was talking about said game because apparently Titus announced that he was coming to watch, making everybody beam and buy tickets.
I was already wearing my white and gold uniform under my hoodie since the game was only a few hours away. Michael and Josh, unfortunately, couldn't come to my first game, despite my begging, because they had pack patrol that afternoon which my father was really strict about.
"Gab, eat something." Michael pushed, bringing a plate of fruits in front of me.
I shook my head. "I can't. The game is only an hour away."
Michael sighed. "I won't be there if you faint of something." I rolled my eyes at Michael's brotherly instincts. "Gab," He trailed off, but I waved at him to stop. I wasn't having it.
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch break making both boys stand and give me goodbyes and goodlucks since they had to go back to pack territory.

The game was versus the first runner up from last year, Oakcrest. I absolutely hated Oakcrest. When I still studied at Auburn, Oakcrest was my arch-enemy. They were the cockiest, most mortifying girls you will ever meet and I looked forward to beating them.
Amanda smiled at me from the goal, giving me a thumbs up as I made my way to my position.
Holly Stone. Beta-born. Conniving. b***h from hell. Major pain in the ass. I hated this girl so much that the bruises I gave her from last season could still be seen.
She gave me her signature smirk. "If it isn't the Alpha." Holly barked, making her minions laugh along with her. "I never thought you associated with losers." She said, pointing at my team that consisted of rogues and Shadow Fangs.
"I see you still haven't healed from last season's fight." I said, a sly smile on my face as I eyed her arms. I saw her stiffen at this. "I hope there's still room for more scars." I taunted.
My team burst out laughing at my comment and it didn't help that Holly was as red as a tomato. I looked to the bleachers and found all the people from Westhill laughing along with us. Shadow Fang members were beaming at me. I guess they didn't think I'd defend them from Oakcrest's bitchyness.
My eyes finally brought me to dark blue ones which were staring right back at me with awe and amusement. Titus Cohen. The name brought delicious shivers down my spine. His stare was so intense and filled with so much emotion that I couldn't look away.
Oakcrest supporters as well found themselves staring at him. He radiated power and confidence so that no one could not just ignore his presence.
He winked at me, suddenly making me flush and look away, praying to the Moon Goddess that he didn't see my blush from the distance, but the laugh he gave off proved that the Goddess did not answer my prayers.
The whistle blew making me jolt back my attention to the ravenous looking Oakcrest. I think when they found out that Auburn burned down that they thought they could win the season finale. Obviously, they didn't count on me joining Westhill.
Holly made her way to the ball hastily like a hungry cheetah and I stood there, amused at how serious she was in winning. It must have been a major dent to her ego to have Auburn always put them in second place.
She kicked with so much ferocity that I was worried for the humans that were watching. Holly's ball flew into the direction of our goal but with one quick move, I stopped it with my knee before proceeding to weave my way through the players that launched themselves at me.
I got cornered at one point, having about three of the players surround me. Lucy came to my rescue. As I passed the ball to her, she skillfully made her way around. Lucy wasn't a Beta born like Holly was, so when Holly threw herself at Lucy, well let's just say a lot of bones broke.
A collective gasp erupted on our side's bleachers while the visiting bleachers screamed and cheered in excitement.
The coach and all the team made their way to a wailing Lucy. I ran towards them and pushed through the crowd that gathered. Lucy was on the grass rolling around in pain. Holly stood to the side laughing, her head pulled back as she and her minions pointed to Lucy.
I didn't know what came over me, but the next thing I knew I was on top of Holly beating her while she tried to wiggle away.
I heard Amanda beating another Oakcrest beside me and the referees were going wild trying to break up the fight.
Soon, a pair of arms circled around my waist, pulling me away. I tried to push away but the arms didn't budge. I gave up and when my back was pressed into a rather hard chest that sent electric shocks right to my core, I suddenly realized who was pulling me away.
"Let go of me." I had planned to say in an intimidating voice, but instead it came out breathless.
I felt his breath fan the nape of my neck as he whispered into my ear. "Babe,"
I felt the air get knocked out of my chest. I didn't realize that he was bringing me back to the benches until he sat himself down, me on his lap. Every pair of eyes was on us. I didn't care for it, but Istill couldn't find the words or the air.
His arms were securely wrapped around me. I could feel every muscle, every line and every curve on his arm and I was literally in heaven as his hard toned chest pressed horrifyingly close to my back. I could feel his heart hammering wildly just like mine was.
I saw my pack stir from their seats. They looked ready to pounce and just like it was a bucket of cold water, I broke apart from Titus, already missing the heat that his body gave off.
"What do you think you're doing?" I snapped, but my voice wasn't as strong as I wanted it to be as it quivered and sounded lumpy.
He looked just as shocked and dazed as I was. I saw him swallow, his adam's apple bobbing, my eyes trailing down his throat. This boy did not know how affected I was by him.
Amanda came out of nowhere, pulling me away from Titus. "The referee says that we should continue the game." She said as I studied her. Amanda had a busted lip with nail markers on her arms, but otherwise looked okay. "Coach explained and Holly is out for the season."
"What about me?" I asked, turning away from Titus.
Amanda dropped her head low when she saw Titus. "You were only defending Lucy." She said, a twinkle in her eyes.
In truth, the referee was a werewolf and was probably scared of having two of the most powerful Alpha's wanting his head if I was cut off from the game.
Without looking at Titus, I walked back to the field, my head held up high. The crowd cheered, Shadow and other werewolves from our team alike.
I don't know when Titus went back to his seat, but when I risked a glance I already saw him sitting down the bleachers sandwiched by his Beta and Third.
We won that game.

There was a storm and not the cute kind. It's one of those storms that scare you into digging a hole big enough for you to be safe.
Well, I was literally alone without any of my pack members at thatmoment, instead surrounded by a pack that wanted my pack gone.
You see, after our soccer game, I told my pack members that I'd catch up since it would take me awhile to shower and do lady things. I would have never thought that it would rain this much.
I let out a loud sigh as I stared out the window of the school. My housewas too far away and driving in this weather was an utter death trap.
I turned to face the soccer team who didn't look even a little worried, and why should they be when their houses are only a few minutes away.
All alone with a rival pack, how funny, I thought. I walked out of the locker room feeling uneasy as the girls started discussing their victory party they were doing at their five minute away house.
Even pack patrol, or dare I say it, even my own father, wouldn't be able to get passed this storm. You could barely see anything from the windows. The only thing the heavy rain and horrifyingly strong winds needed was a tornado and would’ve been a perfect storm.
I walk around the dark hallway praying to the moon goddess to allow me to go home -- like maybe stop the rain for only a few minutes and let me pass?
Amanda suddenly walked beside m,e looking concerned. "Trapped?" She said. A month ago I'd probably be suspicious of her, but I know now that she was only trying to be nice.
I gave her my best reassuring smile. "Nah, this storm will probably stop in a few." She gave me a look, knowing that I was lying through my teeth.
As if to add emphasis that the storm wasn't about to end soon, thunder echoed through the empty halls.
I cringed, knowing that I'd most probably be spending my night here.
"Phone reception is gone, but why don't you mind-link the Alpha?" She suggested. For a minute I thought she meant Titus, but judging by the look she was giving me, she meant my dad.
"I already did." I told her with a frown. "There is zero chance of anyone from my pack getting to me, and before you reason out, yes, my dad has tried and he almost got blown away."
She stifled a laugh and held her hands up. "Not to be disrespectful, but that is hilarious."
"I had my fair share of laughs." I grinned, but it fell as soon as it came as my mind finally registered that I really was about to spend the night at the school all by myself.
Amanda realized this as well, making her smile flatter. "I'd offer you a place to stay, but my parents aren't-"
I raised my hand up, knowing that even though me and her were all buddy-buddy, we were still enemies. "You don't need to explain. It's fine. I totally understand."
Silence filled the both of us as we continued our walk to the main building. "You know what," she started stopping in her tracks.
I turned to look at her, curious of what her mind has conjured.
"I'll stay with you." She said determinedly.
"Amanda, no. You don't need to do this. I won't let you do this for me." I told her, putting a hand on her shoulder.
She was about to reason with me when she suddenly stiffened and the one and only Titus Cohen appeared out of nowhere. "That won't be necessary."
"Alpha." Amanda breathed, bowing her head down as a sign of respect.
Titus merely nodded at her, barely even sparing her a glance as his eyes were focused on me. The halls were dark, making it hard to see how he was looking at me. "My house has a spare roo-"
"I'll pass. My dad is on his way." As much as it thrilled my wolf that he was offering me to stay with him, my pride and honestly my hormones would not be able to take being in the same house as him.
Titus smiled, smugly crossing his arms. "You might be a very good liar, but I heard you two earlier."
"So you're a stalker and an eavesdropper now?" I said, giving him my best irritated look.
He looked amused at what I’d just said, a smirk playing at the sides of his lips. "Leave." He told Amanda who shot me a look of uncertainty, but when she saw Titus' face, she bolted off. He faced me once again. "Come on Gabi, my pack is the closest pack from here."
I clenched my jaw. "I'll pass."
"I'm not taking no for an answer." He replied, taking a step closer.
I glared at him, forcing my nose to stop sniffing his majestic scent. "You're not the boss of me."
"Well then, I'll be the one to stay with you here. All alone in a dark school." He said, trailing off. His smile got bigger as he eyed the dark halls.
Okay. I know I'm a werewolf and all but I think somehow Titus knnew I was afraid of the dark. Well, dark halls. I'd never been the bravest when it came to horror movies and the halls now looked like a scene for one of those crazy horror movies where the girl vanishes and gets lost and dear god I'm sweating just thinking about it.
Titus looked back at me, his face contorted in a funny way, like he was trying hard not to laugh at me being a big baby.
"Okay! Fine! I'm scared of the dark." I huffed, hugging myself because the lightning made the dark halls even worse than they already were.
I waited for Titus' booming laugh, but it never came. When I looked up he was so close to me that it made me gasp. He yanked my arm loose and brought his arms around me instead, bringing me to his chest.
"I'm here." He whispered.
