As I walked through the bustling carnival with my little sisters, Aurora and Avalon, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement in the air. The colorful lights, upbeat music, and delicious smells filled the atmosphere, making it a perfect evening for fun.
I watched Avalon's eyes light up when she spotted a stall selling cotton candy in every rainbow color. "Can we get some, big brother?" she pleaded, tugging at my sleeve.
I hesitated at first, knowing how messy cotton candy could be, but seeing the pure joy on her face made me give in. "Alright, let's go get some," I said with a smile.
After purchasing two bags of fluffy cotton candy, I turned around to find Aurora and Avalon gone. Panic set in as I frantically called out their names, but there was no response.
