Andrew did not feel himself when he pulled her into a hug, and not a minute passed an angry growl came from behind them.
They separated the hug and turned to find Caesar looking at them angrily.
Alice quickly stood between them defending Andrew and said, " Wait, he's my friend. "
" Whoever he is, he can't hug you knowing that you're mine, " Caesar said, still looking at Andrew angrily.
" He didn't mean anything, Caesar ," said Alice, with justification. " He was my best friend, and we haven't seen each other for years ."
Caesar didn't seem to be convinced. " You haven't seen your other friend in years either, but you haven't been crying. "
Alice rolled her eyes because she knew Caesar didn't believe her. " I thought he was dead, plus I didn't know he was a wolf, " she said.
