DEVLIN
I saw them seated at the big table in a private room reserved for the meeting by McGregor.
Juval opened the door for me to step inside the room. I normally conduct business inside the office but in this case, I let them invite us to this hotel. This was one of the luxurious hotels in Beverly Hills, trying to impress me, I figured, but I was not.
I tried to calm and composed myself, hiding annoyance–it was still business, it should be conducted formally. But the presence of a lady to join this all-important meeting, I couldn't understand.
“Here you are–” He stood up, followed by the lady beside him.
I stopped and stood still in front of him, without an arch in my face, “McGregor.”
“Oh–please call me Jeffrey and I will call you Devlin,” he proposed, trying so hard
