CHAPTER 17 SAIRAH I woke up the following day immobilized-- cocooned in warmth by heavy arms and legs-- hugged tightly as if I would escape during the night. I never woke up to this extent, as if paralyzed-- but even if my body was numb all over I wouldn't complain.
