Theora had not expected that. She stared at her cousin blankly, still a bit in shock. A vampire had been executed? After he went rampant attacking people and murdering several innocents? She could hardly believe it. She had never met a vampire before, so she had always thought they would be rather similar to dhampirs, to herself, and she could never imagine one day going around attacking strangers... She remembered Danell having said something about vampires needing more blood more often than she did, but that was it. Now Theora felt almost nervous to meet one; even worse, she wondered how much that knowledge about vampires attacking people had affected her cousins' perception of her...
