"See?" Danell smirked. "And you know my mom's always right."
Theora smiled faintly. She was very grateful for Merigold's words, and even more so that it felt like she was lifting some of the guilt off Theora's shoulders of leaving the village. She had never considered things from the perspective of what she could bring to Wordin Valley, only what she would be leaving behind. She wiped the last plate and put it away, sighing.
"Thank you, Merigold, and I am honored you believe in me, but there's still... The money issue is the biggest one, and won't go away with just willpower."
