As the van slid to a stop on its side, the car pulled around and stopped next to it. Jake rushed out of the car, Simon following close behind.
“Quinn!” Jake yelled for her as he ran towards the van. The men in the back of the van began to kick the door open, trying to escape.
Simon called for the backup to arrive, and two other cars pulled up with the Snow Agency men. Lila ran out of one of the cars towards Jake.
A flame began to rise from the van. The men finally broke the door free and crawled out of the back. Peering into the driver’s window, he saw that both the driver and Quinn were unconscious.
“Get her out of there, quickly!” Jake ordered his men, as they rushed over and began prying open the van doors.
