Daniel went to Elise’s room after leaving his father’s study. He didn’t knock and just walked into her bedroom. Elise was laid out on her bed. Her leg was propped up on a pillow.
“You told Lance?!” Daniel yelled at her. Elise looked at him shocked, before her expression changed to anger.
“I had no choice! You weren’t making any progress on a plan to get rid of her! Now look, we’ve been replaced!” Elise was furious. She had already talked with Cory earlier, the conversation ending the same way that it did for Daniel.
Calming down, Daniel decided to sit. All they really had were each other now. Their mother, Carol was no help to them. Her only objective in life were her riches and reputation.
