“Hey buddy. Where’s your mommy?” Jake asks. JJ points towards me and Jake smiles my way. “Why don’t you and Annabel go play with your friend while I talk to mommy.”
“But you just found me. What if you can’t find me again?” JJ asks.
“That's not going to happen buddy. I promise I’m not going anywhere,” Jake says.
JJ and Annabel start playing with Brandy while Seth and Lacey watch them. Seth mouths “are you ok?” and I nod. Jake walks over to me and scoops me into his arms. He hugs me so tightly, spinning me around. As he does he kisses me passionately on my lips. When he sets me on my feet he cups my face. I have to be dreaming. This can’t be real.
“Why didn’t you tell me I had a son?” Jake asks.
“I didn’t know your last name until a year ago. After that I was afraid you’d take him from
