A hand came in front of my eyes, blocking my vision, "Stop looking at him!" I grabbed the hand and turned my head to glare at Elijah in frustration. "Ally? Going somewhere?" My gaze turned back to Ryan and smiled, "You here again?" "Told you I will come back," he grinned and climbed up the stairs to reach me. His hand lifted up but before it could touch me, Elijah's hand grabbed it and pushed it away, "We have got to go somewhere. Go back to where you came from." Ryan did not look at Elijah. Like... literally ignored him like he was not even standing beside me. This gave me a total shock and to be honest... scary, big shivers. I could feel Elijah fuming beside me when Ryan said to me, "I have things to talk to you about. Let's go." I opened my mouth to answer but Elijah was quicker than me when he sidestepped Ryan and started walking forward with me, "We are busy. f**k off." Ryan's hand shot out to grab my other one, stopping us in the tracks, "I am talking to her, not you, dumb ass." I gave an awkward laugh, seriously under the impression that if I did not take any step, there was a brawl about to break out between two fully grown men. "Why don't we all three go together?" I suggested loudly while laughing, "the road is wide. Let's talk while walking!" They both gave me a look that clearly made me look stupid. "I don't have time for a walk. You and I are taking my car and going to have breakfast in a good place." Elijah had barely finished talking when Ryan started walking forward towards the Bently standing in the front while saying, "Awesome. I am coming too." I almost choked. More in fear than because of laughter. ***** The three of us sat in front of each other, silently, and awkwardly. I sat in the middle and Ryan and Elijah on each side of me. The small round table had plenty of room, but to make my life a small, literal hell, both of them had put their chairs as close to me as humanly possible like a thing named private space did not even exist in this world. "Why are you following her?" Elijah broke the silence. His eyes kept staring ahead towards the blank wall when he asked the question. "What's it to you?" Ryan responded in the same tone. "I don't want a rabid dog following my girlfriend around the whole f*****g day." "I am not your girlfriend!" "She is not your girlfriend!" I, and Ryan snapped at the same time, making Elijah turn his head sideways to stare at us blankly. Instead of responding to my objection, he picked up the glass of juice from the table and took a sip. His head turned back to stare at the wall. A hand suddenly slipped on my shoulders, startling me and making me turn towards the owner of that hand, "What are you doing?" The corner of Ryan's mouth twitched when he leaned down towards me, "How about you and I have dinner together?" He had barely finished saying when his hand that was on my shoulder was harshly thrown away and Elijah threw his chair back, standing up from his seat angrily. He pointed his finger at Ryan, and gritted, "You. Out with me. Right now." His eyes held a challenge that obviously Ryan was not planning to ignore or back down of it by the way his attitude was. So before I could object or say anything, they were storming out of the restaurant with wide strides. Ten minutes passed but none of them came back inside. Worried, I stood up and walked out of the restaurant but there was no one there on the busy morning street. I walked forward a bit more until the corner of the restaurant and found a small alley there, with Ryan and Elijah having their fists at each other's throats. "If she already told everything to you then why the f**k are you following her around like a f*****g dog?" Elijah snapped, his fists were clenched so tight, I was honestly worried if he was going to hit Ryan with it at any moment. "What are you guys doing?!" I shouted but my voice went unheard by them both. Ryan forced a step closer to Elijah, his face was completely red in anger as he snapped, "I am a thousand times better than you, f*****g life sucker. You are the one following her around, pretending that now you are the best shoulder she can get now when she has broken down in front of you. What I do with her is none of your god damn business!" Elijah took a threatening step towards Ryan, making me feel strangely fearful with each passing second, and take blind steps in their direction without realizing the depth of danger. "Stop!" I shouted, and pushed at Elijah's shoulders, coming between both of them. The difference was of a mild, mini second as his fist crashed on the wall right beside Ryan's head, making dust and rocks fly around us. I gasped in fear while Elijah grabbed my shoulders and threw me sideways as he roared, "are you out of your god damn mind?!" I breathed in relief as my hands shook in fright, "wh... what is wrong with you?" I said as my voice shivered, "you could have killed Ryan!" Ryan came towards me while Elijah's raging eyes went from him to me and back. His jaw was clenched tight, a nerve clearly jumping in his skin. He took one step forward towards us, opened his mouth to say something, but then fell silent and turned away, and then instantly turned back and blasted, "You are defending him in front of my face?" I stepped forward and seethed, "Yes! Because he is not the one who just tried to kill you, you are!" "He doesn't deserve to come to me singing songs about your greatness, Ally." Elijah gritted, "are you trying to kick me out of the picture because you have found a new boy toy?" I gasped, "oh my God." Ryan stepped forward and pulled me behind him at the same time, "That was a very rude thing to say, dude." Elijah gave a blank look to the both of us before his eyes came to me and said, "I am making it clear that I am not interested in a woman who is keeping lots of men around her for comfort. I don't have the time to spend my energy on your childish emotional games. So since this is your first time, I will try to be understandable and let it go. But I think it is time for you to clean up your untidy emotions and scattered relationships with men if you have any wish to continue being in love and your relationship with me." I was flabbergasted at his words, taken aback by the harshness in them, "Scattered relationships with men?" I repeated in a flat tone, "Untidy emotions?" He continued without any regard to what I was feeling at that moment, "I am done talking. You can go away now and come back to me when you are done deciding." I did not say anything. I did not have any words. He kept staring into my eyes and repeated, "I said go away!" "Jerk." I whispered, turned around, and walked away from him.
