Chapter Eight

Chapter Eight: There is still a chance to escape a beast; but what about the one you are not aware of?

A very commanding voice left his mouth and I froze, choosing to just stare at him. Yes, I was afraid!

The minute I found out that I had been fed alcohol, I felt like everyone was staring at me. Like everyone outside the VIP area was gawking at me, and as much as it might have just been my paranoia, it could still be that I was not paranoid at all and was just seeing things for exactly what they are!

"What is the matter? We did this for you, you don't have to drink but at least look happy!" Julia was clearly a bit offended by my reaction. I mean, I get where she was coming from but she was not in my situation and she would never be able to understand!

"I really appreciate everything you did for me! I really do, but I should not be here!" I was panicking, just imagining Alpha Baron walking into the club, sweeping through the crows to snatch me.

I could not allow that!

"Where are your car keys, Julia?" I questioned while panicking and she furrowed her brows without questioning me back.

"You cannot drive, I hope that is not what you want to do with my keys!" She handed them to me anyway without complaining and I thanked her.

"I am sorry in advance!" I yelled before running out of the VIP area. I was able to get to the outside without going through everyone, using the door that I had gotten in through.

I reached the parking lot and was instantly daunted! How the f**k was I supposed to find it?

I could not even unlock it from a distance because for some reason, all I had was the metallic key, and all I could do with it was shove it into a keyhole!

I did not have time to be indecisive because I needed to get home! I was not going back to that club! I needed to get home and take my tea before anything happened to me!

I found the car after searching for quite some time. It could have been just a minute but every second that passed, i could be too late!

It definitely helped that there were only a few blue cars in here!

I dashed to it and successfully unlocked it.

"s**t! Thank goodness!" I yelled before getting into the car.

I was only going to use the skills I got from watching Julia drive and from me teaching myself! That was not good enough to get the car out of this compact space but it had to do!

I turned the car on and did not even wait for it to warm up before instantly shifting the gear to R.

I held onto the steering wheel and stepped on it lightly!

I was able to make the car retreat for some distance before I stopped.

It was almost as though I had parked the car again, only this time around, I was facing front and just had to drive forward!

I was thankful that there was a car on only one side because it would make it easier to get out. All I needed to do was get home! I already knew how to walk there but now I just had to do so by driving...driving after drinking tequila when I did not even know how to drive.

Just brilliant!

I was about to move the car forward when I noticed a man standing right in front of it.

He was tall, had amazing physique and was dressed in all black. As soon as I turned the headlights on to try and blind him, he smirked! I saw his piercing light eyes and I was panicking. It was definitely not Baron but something about him was not doing me good!

I had a feeling he was a wolf and although I was already paranoid about it, I had to be careful!

I honked at him and he did not even flinch before he walked to my window. Bending over, the stared right at me before smiling.

"Open up!" A very commanding voice left his mouth and I froze, choosing to just stare at him. Yes, I was afraid!

"I said open this door!" He threatened again and I shook my head this time around, which seemingly made him mad.

I was not expecting what he did next at all! His hand went straight through the window and I gasped as the glass shattered and some pieces fell on my lap.

"Oh my f*****g God! What are you doing? Why are you doing this?" I unstrapped my seatbelt and was trying to remove some glass pieces on me before they seriously injured me.

His hand was in the car before I knew it and he unlocked the door before opening it.

I barely had time to register what wa happening before he grabbed me with my arm and dragged me out of the car.

"Ouch! You are hurting me!" I yelled when my had pressed hard against a piece of class accidentally.

"You are quite a feisty one! Why did you make me do all of that?"

He questioned and I avoided his eyes, focusing on the glass that was stuck in my hand.

I did not force you to do that, stupid animal!

"Let me see, my princess!" His deep voice was vibrating through my entire body as he held my wrist and took a closer look at my hand.

Holding me firmly, he grabbed the big piece of glass that was caught in my hand and pulled it out.

"s**t! That actually hurt!" I yelled and he looked me straight in the eyes as he bright my hand...my bleeding hand tp his face and lowered it to his lips.

His tongue escaped his mouth and drew warm swirls all over my palm as he licked my blood off.

"You taste amazing, mate! I am so glad I finally found you!" He stated and my eyes widened to the horrifying word.

Mate? What mate?
