Sienna POV
I stared at the reflection of the girl in the mirror. She looked the same on the surface. The same strawberry blonde hair slicked back into a low bun. The same unusual orange eyes that everyone always commented on. The same tanned complexion with light freckles over her cheeks. Same fierce expression. No one would presume she was any different. No one would know her secrets.
I sighed deeply as I picked up the rose lipstick and applied it to my lips. I was back home. With all my belongings and comforts, yet none of it felt…right. None of it felt like mine any more. And I couldn’t understand why. I also couldn’t understand why I couldn’t bring myself to tell Stanley that I was Raiden’s mate. I opened my mouth to say it but the words just never came out.
