Mum and I left dad to deal with this missing student fiasco and walked the grounds of the academy, arm in arm as I filled her in on the moment I saw Sienna and how I felt. I then told her about Sienna’s reaction and how it feels as if she is confused and lacks knowledge of the mate bond but after this morning in the gym, I had seen a pain in her too. Something that was causing her to build these stone walls around her. The smile on my mother’s face as she listened to every detail, even when I told her how much Sienna is fighting our bond, was giving me a quiet strength that this would all work out.
