Neve POV Leaning back against the smooth bark of a blossom tree on the grounds, I closed my eyes and basked in the late afternoon sun. It was a free period for me and I was supposed to be studying for my finals but after the day I’d had, I couldn’t think of anything worse than forcing my brain to do anything more than chill. I let the anger and annoyance roll off me in waves as I inhaled deeply and exhaled like I had seen them do in yoga tutorials. Maybe, I should take up yoga… or meditation. I breathed in again and balanced my wrists on my knees in a cross-legged pose. I bet I look like I know what I’m doing to all the passers by. When I exhaled, I blew out through my mouth dramatically. Was this supposed to be relaxing? Why is this position so uncomfortable? A pesky insect buzzed by
