Aurora’s POV I tossed and turned in my bed, unable to find a comfortable position. The sheets were soaked with sweat, and a feverish heat coursed through my veins. It was my full circle and my heat period. The moon was at its brightest, and my wolf was at its strongest. I hated this night because I was losing control of myself and my body. Kia, my wolf, had become aggressive and wanted us to find our mate and ride on his c**k until we tired each other out. Kia's mating heat cycle usually ended within the last three days of the month. It took all my energy to control my wolf and not expose myself. "Breathe, Aurora," I encouraged myself, pulling the blanket over my head and trying to block out the sound of the rain and the sight of the moonlight. I knew it was useless, but I had to try.
